I don't know why (yes I do, I shouldn't deny the most powerful spice on the planet), but I have done it before, no fear beforehand and I have even wasted some before. Now I have a gram and cannot stand to load any into the pipe. The tryps it takes me on are incredible and literally its like kennedy space center after that first hit. 20 seconds to liftoff.

Its very...I guess I am just ANTICIPATING it way too much? Never had a "bad" tryp. I once saw a place that looked, and felt like hell, it was dark and red and I heard shouting, but it didn't and doesn't to this day scare me much. And I have done it since. Only 2 hits though and I had a lil bit of a nothing tryp that last one, aside from the OEVz.

My first tryp all I could see around me was white / blank, it wasn't bright or dull, and it was closer to feeling like heaven and I saw bodies and this is all I saw, half-bodies, but not scary-like, just, like weird, going 900mph through these half bodies, but they are full bodied at first, and as I pass at 900mph they open like treasure chests from the waist up. Dunno if anyone has had this type of experience before, I would literally be astounded.

I am smoking some high powered green tea extract right now to calm my nerves and also for my nerves actual nerve stuff. Whatever, I want to do it, but I can't. But yeah, help me out here, I want Kennedy Space Center to put another shuttle on the launch pad and put the liquid oxygen/nitrogen combo on it. Count down and blast OFF.

Lil help? Sorry if I or SWIM broke the rules.

Feeling trepidation is perfectly normal, it is not a problem. There is all the time in the world to work with spice.

I have a pipe, loaded, sitting on a shelf here for 3 or more months now. At some time it will be the right time and it will catapult me somewhere else. It is highly unlikely to disappear in the meantime.

I have been having the same issue for quite some time. Figured I need to work on my courage and surrender. I also discovered smoalking to Icaros, which is just the most amazing thing.

I've always had a helpful trick that has helped me.

Early on, a friend mentioned that he had extreme preflight anxiety. He also had anxiety about other things in life. One day I mentioned, "I wonder if you are confusing excitement with anxiety... Maybe anxiety is the immediate first choice due to the conditioning of society"

He said that he had never thought about it like that and that I was probably right.

So the next time he mentioned anxiety, I said the same thing. He'd think about it for a minute and then smile. That smile meant he was ready.

The power of suggestion can be the strongest force in this dimension. It can also mean nothing. It all depends on how the suggestion is suited for the receiver
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

I've.dealt with this a lot as.well and still do but I had to realize its normal these are powerrul. Experiences.

And after thinking about how ive really only had one bad trip on any drug my whole.life and how the rest have been difficult but worthwhile I realize I'm just messing with my own head. You'd be excited and scared if you were about to jump out of a plane wouldn't you?

As people have told.me your going to come.down in a few minutes and its not going to.kill you or make you go crazy permanently at least.

Enjoy and realize even difficult trips are worth while if you have the right intention.
That moment when you wonder if this time you went too far....

Obviously everything discussed here is the fictional accounts of someone with an out there imagination. I mean really could any of these tales be real?

Everytime I'm doing my pre-smoke routine, I get all nervous and shaky like I'm already tripping.

Then I take a few minutes to remind myself about something from one of my first trips.

My tripping balls self sent a message to my future sober self saying 'there's nothing to be afraid of, come on in'.

It was like I was giving myself some sort of soother for this trepidation I get beforehand.

Even though the trepidation is perhaps misplaced, because I've never had a negative DMT trip.

Messages that come from my tripping self to my sober self are always interesting and useful to me.

Thumbs up

You can cycle this thought few times:

Quote:
All this excitement, this heart beating, deeper breathing, the anxiety, all this pre-flight stuff, has nothing to do with the actual experience itself. It is stuff that I, as a person, drags into it, connect to it, due human responses.
The actual ceremony is nothing of this kind at all, it is of total other nature.

This allows to focus on the true nature of the experience, and smile at the typical human reflexes that pop up prior the ceremony.
