Just for info:
I was happily surprised that Netflix in The Netherlands just added today the movie "Vine of the Soul: Encounters with Ayahuasca".
I found it a positive and touching film and on many points I had to smile and strong emotions came back seeing those peoples faces and the way they talked or couldn't talk afterwards because they were still overwhelmed with emotions and feelings.
Another positive step in introducing the knowledge in my country.

Btw, in the Dutch subtitles: 'Vine' of the soul was translated into 'Wine' of the soul Rolling eyes

I've watched the film, it was calmly made, not emphasizing on spectacle and really heading for healing qualities, this all I liked.

If you seek for a wider scope of information about ayahuasca in Peru, it is not much informative, but probably it was intended to focus on bringing personal reports.

I hope that more documentaries get made about all sorts of pyschoactives. It's frustrating to think that the Nancy Regan clan has drilled "Just Say NO" so far into (at least) the American psyche that most of us are afraid to even speak to our neighbors about burning a joint.

The more of this stuff that's out there the more likely that people will at least start a discussion about it; what an important and interesting role that media is starting to play in our world.
