I tried to search everywhere and I don't really see any article on how to harvest root-barks.

After hours of research, I understand that only the inner-rootbark is needed. But what i wish to know is how do you collect it?

This is my condition, I live in Australia, and I got some Acicia and mimosa tree in the garden, which i am not sure if it does contain DMT or not, that's why i need to try to test out. Basicly i find the root of the tree, and cut it with knife in a L shape and start to peal off the bark.

Is this the right way to do it? Also, is the root-bark has to be dreid? Can i use it while fresh?

Can someone whom have successfully complete the whole process of harvest ---> extract successfully answer my question plz, thanx alot~

ps. I followed the DMT handbook, with the mimosa (i think) in my garden, i didn't know how to harvest that time so what i did is i chop off a small part of the root (not the main root) and grind the whole thing up while fresh, and start cooking~ at the end i do find there are white film floating at the bottom of the cup filled with shillite, only a little bit but there is, and i put them on the glass to evaporate but left with nothing at all, is that DMT? I been doing this with different method and different tree for 5 times, and that's the closest one i find in the shillite, other extractions i find nothing. So i am looking for advice from ppl whom have successfully done this from the scratch, ty

how about mimosa hostilis? I've seen pictures of people digging them out with a pickaxe thats all I'vee seen of the harvest but my first reaction would be to clip the ends of the roots.

I just read up on another forum that people dig 1/4 the circle of roots being careful not to damage the main hub trunk then replant and let it grow for another 2 years and repeat. Apparantly, better harvesting requires destruction of the tree.
