Here are photos of my recent 4 hundred gram acacia extraction at only pull three!..
It looks like over three grams.. but when compleatly dried.. is probibly more like 0ne and a half grams..?
The stuff was so concintrated that there wasnt enough room for it all to stick to the glass and a lot of it was thick floating crystals with very little to no fats and oils thanks to my first defatt..
It looked like wet sand on the beach!

I have a couple questions to go with my photos below...[ before they were moved]
These are photos of my latest napatha pulls no 7 and 8...
These photos are before i put them in freezer...they apear already crystals but soggy..
After only 10 hours freezing they may have changed ..[just a little].. although not many crystals sticking to glass..
After freezing it was like thick floating crystal slush?
I simply drained most of the napatha out and fan dryed the crystals...
They dryed well and remained white and smelled right..
Has anyone else did it this way with a crystal slush?
[maybe 10 hours wasnt long enough in freezer?]

I've had similar floaters , just drain the naps away slowly then they'll sink and stick to the glass , just be careful when fan drying as they tend to get very light and can blow away , and that'd be a terrible shame !!

Starway6 why 400g batch , is it so you don't have to muck around extracting for a while , because I'm doing 100g batches and I find it's the perfect size , usually I recover about 1.4 - 1.6g of pure fluff !

I've also tried the larger extraction on the same bark and I just don't seem to recover the same yeild , idk if it's got to do with the differant liquid measurements being alittle thicker but it just doesn't work aswell as the 100g ACRB with maxion TEK without the freeze thaw !!

Hi Earthwalker..Im doing my first 400 grm batch because i want to see how much ill get..
This time as you can see in my photos above...Im getting ..LOTS!,, of the stuff so far!
Ive done a total of 10 napatha pulls so far and its still giving more!.. and ive gotten atleast 2 or 3 grams of crystals so far!
I was told that my acacia bark is [root bark only] and so far with my results i believe it!
I think yeild has to do with bark quality..
I have been using [part of thicklights tek and acid boiling my powdered bark atheast 4 or more hours ].. and in my extraction im also using ..[part of cybs salt tek and doing hot water baths].. shaking re heating and cooling..
Only this time.. im leaving the napatha pull in the pot of hot water and waiting for it to seperate..

Personally..I find that after shaking and reheating the napatha pull atleast 4 times in hot water bath...
[and instead of removing the jar of napatha from hot water to cool and seperate..

I just leave the jar in the pot of hot water..it seems to push the dmt to the top faster and i get faster clean seperations that way and then after removing the napatha layer i re heat
the water and do the same thing 4 more times before each pull..

Doing it this way i keep the napatha bottel ..[constantly hot].. through out the intire procedure of 4 or 5 pulls..
All this depends on doing a defatt earlier before basifacation..

One other thing i have noticed this time [because these pulls were soo concintrated with alcaloid].. as you can see in photo below ..the crystals were percipatating in the jar at warmer than room temperature!!![how is this posible?!]

And putting this concintrated of a pull in the freezer [for 10 hours..didnt make much diference..so I just poured off the napatha through a coffie filter catching a lot of crystals and fan drying everything ..

After drying.. it was white and looking at the crystals under magnafication could clearly see thousands crystal spikes every where !
You can see this in photo below ..the crystals fell to bottom of jar like wet snow and some stuck to the sides of jar..At warmer than room temperature ???/?!!
Has anyone everseen crystals compleatly forming at room or higher than room temp from a highly concintrated napatha pull??

First off, congrats on the successful extraction! Looks like you have enough magic to play with for years!

Regarding your room temp precipitation question. The reason the crystals form at such a warm temp is due to the saturation of your naphtha pulls. As you are heating your mimosa/solvent soup, more dmt is being pulled. When your solvent is super saturated, it can easily start precipitating before putting it in the freezer.

That wasn't the most scientific explanation, but I hope you get the gist of it.
