I read a lot of stuff on here about people wanting to figure out DMT but I've yet to come across anyone that has shared any "real" input.

Like, has anyone ever tried using DMT for like Astral Projection, Remote Viewing, etc? Ever ask a hyper-dimensional being where your lost car keys are?

In other words, has anyone on here actually tried to see if DMT could tap into a part of the brain for "magick" like the Shamans in South America do? If even just to de-bunk them?

Has anyone ever had a complex work or school related issue that they solved by asking DMT while they were in that state?

Just wondering.

It seems like DMT could have some profound uses, even if they're just tricks of the mind. Myself, I want to start tapping into the full potential. I'm looking for input from others that have done the same.

A lot of what I have learned from DMT has been things that I can't even explain in words, but I clearly see the impact on my life. I've been recently studying quaballah as a way to integrate psychedelic experiences. There's a lecture on YouTube of strassmann explaining how to use religious systems to integrate your experiences and apply what you learn Smile

You will tap into the full potential by using it, and integrating the experiences. Writing down you experiences is a good technique as well.

I shared my integration from an experience that rocked my socks, which i believe has some good input as to how I have used the experience to help me through life. As far as astral projection, it kind of does that for you. I havent needed to "ask where my car keys are" as they entities almost always set me straight with the issues that I am dealing with.

External stuff is IMO unimportant. Those are just details of this simulation we are experiencing. The internal parts of you and how you view the world and interact is what is the meat of it all is. These things are what DMT reconciles for me. I also dont need to ask anything (nor can I really), the experience shows me exactly what I need to see right at that moment in time. DMT has been IMMENSELY profound for me. it has taught me sooooo much. I am a better person and continue to strive for personal improvement because of it.

I have learned things on DMT trips but I don't really set out with an intention in mind when vaping DMT. IT just seems to take me someplace not necessarily based on my conscious intentions. The biggest thing I've learned is that I take what I get. Sometimes that's a cogent learning experience and sometimes it's utter nonsense and weirdness. I have had vaping sessions that have seemed to lack any meaning whatsoever, and others that have had profound effects on my life, such as big shifts in my diet and outer healthful things (which I'm pretty sure is learning).

If you can manage the kind of control to direct the experience, excellent. I've never been lucky enough to be in that position. Every time is like throwing myself into a volcano and counting on divine intervention, lol.

I usually enter the experience hoping for artistic inspiration. Most things you'll see in there cannot be directly translated into art, but I find that if I meditate enough on an experience, no matter how perplexing, there is eventually some kind of useful output into my art stream. And since I see art as just being a cluster of visual metaphors for existence in general , there is a lot more depth to this input/ output process than just making pictures; there are life lessons in there, often things that can lead you to realize where you are struggling in your life and what you might be able to do about it.

Most psychonauts will agree that asking specific questions to the entities will bring you ambiguous answers at best, which is pretty well analogous to the way the whole DMT experience works. More questions than answers, but with some potential for making some kind of real, concrete progress in understanding your own place in the world and how your personal happiness formula works. I think that's really one of the most useful things that you can learn from any experience.

I tried working on my novel post pharma one night and it took me like an hour to write what I thought was the most genius paragraph in the English language . . . . but I wound up deleting it when I was fully sober, it totally stood out and was waaaay too purple. Though, I do get many ideas for the book during pharma and make notes, I can only write if I'm sober.

As far as learning goes, I learn a very great deal, usually about myself. DMT has certainly been gasoline on the fire of my interests.
Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

Well, just to quote a cliche that you hear a lot about DMT, especially with Ayahuasca.....

"YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU WANT, YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED."

Just passing along what some believe.
I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention by using totally fictitious verbiage...........

The above refers to the fictitious 'I'

Thanks for the replies.

The "I use DMT to remember what I already know." and "YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU WANT, YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED." definitely ring a bell.

I was just curious.

I haven't had any DMT for a while here. I'm in the middle of extracting some but since it'd be irresponsible to extract where I'm staying, I have to do it in the middle of the woods, only when I can spare the time to drive out there. My jars are currently just chilling, buried..

I just realized that I've never really had strong intent. I may have time after time stated my intent or asked a question before blasting in but DMT has always been so overwhelming that it was hard to keep my mind. DMT always scared me.

Things have changed since then though. Some things have happened, we'll leave at that, and I just simply don't think DMT could scare me anymore. Thing about DMT is it can be so damned scary. Why though? I guess not knowing what it really is/what it's really doing to the brain. I don't really know how to explain what's different now vs before but, I CANNOT WAIT!

I want to see what the potential of this stuff is really like, even if just introspection or alike is all it is.

Or maybe I'll figure out how to turn into a bird and fly Razz lol. I don't really believe that.
I do however wholly believe that a "person" can leave their body. This I'm sure people will debate but personally I hold it as a solid truth. I wonder how DMT can aid in that ... Cuz laying night after night just to fall asleep 99.9% of the time while attempting OOBE gets very old.

at my first tryings i also tried to learn something like you said. I tried to know what my friends thinking that time. But every time i tried this or something like that , a voice inside my head continously starts to say , "why are you trying this , there is no meaning of this , there is no importance of this... isnt that funny ha ha ha ".

Later , i understand that as above said , you wont see what you want , You will see what dmt shows you.
I think , any move that results in taking over the control of the trip will drive you insane.

had a breakthrough last night while sitting cross legged and meditating and it was the same place I always go except this time I realized that it feels similar to the start menu of a video game. Like anyone who plays video games and gets wrapped up in them knows how it feels when you hit pause and realize you have shit to do. I also had a strange feeling that time as we know it on Earth doesn't exist there like nothing had changed since the last time I visited or maybe like I had returned to my original form and life is kind of like a bad dream. As I came down and became aware of my surroundings I was extremely angry and sad and was sure that Earth is hell. I started wondering what I must have done to end up in hell and thinking about how if reincarnation is real that if I die I'm going could be stuck here in another form. I started repeating "I want to come home" and that made me cry.
Maybe smoalking after having a really bad day during a really bad year wasn't the best idea but at least it helped me decide that killing myself probably isn't the answer.

I felt really disappointed in myself most likely because the last time I went in was awhile ago and I think I might have decided after that previous breakthrough that I wanted to find a lover or really close friend who I could share it with before going back in as I don't have anyone anymore.

as far as (direct) learning goes.. really you should be looking more in fields like epistemology and ontology (Which it can directly teach much about), rather than new-age silliness.

even if you believe hyperspatial entities objectively exist.... how the hell would they know where your keys are, any more than you would know where in hyperspace their hyperspacial equivalent to keys would be?

DMT has taught me to be comfortable with myself again. It reminded me where I came from and how I came to be. It allowed me to dig back to the very essence of my existence. "I exist because I simply can." Is what I have learned, and allowed me to relive that very moment of creation of me becoming into existence to understand what it is, even before birth into this world. I cant put it into words obviously lol, this keyboard does no justice to explain the beauty and elegance It has showed me, its frustrating lolMad . But I think we all know how beautiful the realm is lol.Thumbs up

One of the only requests that DMT will ever fulfill for me, I ask of it every time: "Please show me something I couldn't normally imagine." If it doesn't, I simply didn't measure enough spice, or pay enough attention to what it showed me.

Nndmtteamwork: hang in there. Perhaps your interest in psychedelics is as much about finding your tribe as it is about the substance itself. Perhaps try going to some visionary art/music festivals, they happen all over the place and you may begin finding people with whom you can share more openly.

If you (or anyone) feels like they are going to hurt themselves, then it might be time to consider empowering yourself by seeking help from professionals or support groups whose goal is to see you find relief from feelings of despair or depression or anxiety.

First hand experiences.
