Is your research geared towards a particular category of plants? If you narrow down your request or provide more precise description of what it is you are covering in your research, it might be easier (for myself and others) to reply to your question.

All the best with your research.

900 meters above sealevel is really high. Perhaps Trichocereus Peruvianus & Trichocereus Pachanoi,
growing high in the Andes mountains, might qualify.

Other high growing plants are Acacia Phlebophylla(endangered species), growing 350 meters above sea-level,
& possibly Acacia Alpina too.

Acacia Phlebophylla:

Allthough these plants are not native to the Mediterranean region, it could be that in the more arid & dry areas some of these plants may have become naturalised.

Are you talking about the Pyrenees mountain range? Does that get higher than 900m above sealevel? o_O

Thete must be a huge number of plants that can live and thrive at those altitudes. Life is so tenacious
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

Ok, a reputable field guide (or several) could potentially be useful to your location specific plant identification. A point of interest (maybe not directly relevant to your request but can provide context) is how a single plant can exist and adapt to significant variations in height above sea-level. In some countries elevated plateaus, often higher than 1000m asl., subject plants to contrasting environmental conditions. From my own experience, I've come across an Acacia species (Acacia karroo in this particular instance) at two drastically different localities; A xeric Mediterranean environment (Winter Rainfall Zone) ~10m asl. and another specimen located in a grassland savannah (Summer Rainfall Zone) ~1400m asl.

All the best with your research
