Hi there!

So... I have Hyperspace Fool's COCO Tek For Insufflation Of DMT, but I think I'll try without the coco first, for long term storage purposes.
Anyway, my questions regarding this ROA are:

1 - Is any salt preferable? In terms of solubility, efficiency and nasal burns. I have several acids at hand: acetic, fumaric and hydrochloric...also lemon juice and maybe some ascorbic acid too.

2a - To make a nasal spray with Syrian Rue extract or Caapi extract, is any salt preferable?
2b - Can/Should Syrian Rue extract or Caapi extract be added to a DMT nasal spray? I would think so. Any advice on ratio? I was thinking 2 parts harmalas : 1 part DMT.

Cheers!

Interesting concept.... nasal changa almost Razz I feel like any salt would work as long as it makes both parts water soluble. I have some pure citric acid powder I might give this a shot with.

Nasahuasca project - complete! Big grin

At first, I used clear vinegar, but then I realized it messed up my mg/ml ratio, so I finished with fumaric acid.

- 500mg Syrian rue harmalas (freebase) were mixed with 6ml hot water.
- Around 2.5ml clear vinegar was added to the mix.
- (Argh my ratio) 200mg more harmalas were added.
- some fumaric acid was added until everything was dissolved.
My extract was probably not very pure, I had an insoluble deposit at the bottom.
I picked up the clear liquid and dumped the deposit.
For some reason, there was only 7ml end product, don't ask me why! Wut?

- I put 3ml in a nasal spray (RIMA nasal spray!), and the 4ml left went back into the shot glass.
- I added 200mg DMT freebase to these 4ml (supposedly containing ~400mg harmalas) for a 2:1 harmala/DMT ratio.
- I warmed it up and added fumaric acid little by little until everything was dissolved.
I noticed impurities floating... It seems that my DMT freebase wasn't very pure either, hehe.
- I picked up the clear liquid, dumped the impurities and put that in a nasal spray.

Tadaaah!
My advice : purify your products before doing it! Laughing
Now I need some human guinea pigs for testing...'coz I'm a wuss scared by his last vaping session!

PS: the end product seems close to saturation point. I hope it won't separate.

I have personally insufflated 80 to 100mg of freebase spice straight up a few times and yeah the burn and nose drama sucks but I have to tell you within seconds your goooonnnnneeee. Also it always last at least 40 minutes but my experience has always been amazing. I can only imagine what this Nasahuasca is going to be like, I can't wait until it is perfected by the great pioneers here at the Nexus. I am a bit of a wuss because I don't think I can handle more than an hour in HyperspaceBig grin, but if and when I hear of successful journeys with the new method, count me in, even if I have to drag myself there.Thumbs up

I had two nasal spray trails till now.

In the first I followed Hyperspace Fool's COCO Tek, with vinegar and coconut cream.

The result only gave me a mild burning sensation. The DMT effect was present, but due to dosage and potency it was not very distinct. What was distinct instead, was the nasty vinegar smell. Razz

So I tried ascorbic acid in my second attempt. But due to lack of knowledge, I wasn't and still am not able to figure out the right ratio of ascorbig acid to use.

When I tried it with a friend...hehe...it worked. But...oh...the burn. It was much stronger than on my last attempt. So, for us, there were two possibilites: I used to less ascorbic acid or used to much.

We decided it could be the first possibility and that there was only one way for us to find this out. Which was of course...adding more ascorbig acid and then try again.

We found out, that it wasn't the first possibilty.

Wow....I can tell you guys, I now know exactly where all the passageways between nose, mouth, ears and throat are. Cause every single one of them burned so much.

I thought I won't try this roa again...but after this thread I feel a sore temptation to give Nasahuasca try.

But I'd really like to know how to figure out the right ratio for the ascorbic acid.
Everything is always okay in the end, if it's not, then it's not the end.

Weak acids will be better and it doesnt take much to make the spice soluble in water. Avoid hydrochloric at all costs it will destroy your body.
Ideally the solution needs to be as close to neutral pH as possible to avoid any discomfort and max absorption but also as concentrated as possible so you dont havr to pour litres of liquid up your hooter.

Dmt citrate is very soluble in water and is a weak acid, maybe dmt citrate and a touch of bicarb to raise the pH close to neutral without freebasing it? Or bicarb alone?
What does dmt plus bicarbonate of soda equal? A gloopy mess?? What salt would dmt be in if you dissolve freebase in pH 8.75 solution?
Does anyone know if spice is soluble in menthol oil?

An idea...

Make solution of citric acid in water, enough acid to reach pH6
Heat solution and add solution dropwise to 500mg freebase spice until all is dissolved. Check pH.
Add tiny bit of bicarb until pH 6-7, filter excess biproducts.
Measure solution, should hopefully be small volume highly concentrated.

I think house has had the best idea to use a sterile nasal spray, these can be bought anywhere just need to figure out how to make the freely spice soluble in it. You can get acidic buffered sprays too to prevent fungus as keeping it sterile seems to be the main health concern.

Open airways prior to spray with vics inhaler.

I've mixed dmt-acetate with sodium bicarb and used nasally several times. it works and the burn is not unbearable. but it does make a gloopy mess. I had to insert with a tooth pic, which can be a bit tricky. I tried adding more bicarb to make it into a paste, placed some in one end of a u shaped straw and blew it up my shnoz.

my original intention with the bicarb was to neutralize the excess vinegar in my solution. but after using this in my mouth and feeling the burn there I have a strong suspicion that when made into a paste bicarb does freebase dmt-acetate. maybe not all of it, but i've used the solution without the bicarb and the burn is distinctly different. concentrated vinegar burns in a different why to freebase spice and the more bicarb i used the more it burned.

Adding bicarb to a solution for use in a nasal spray may work just fine though because of the dilution.

I am finding that using my spice in the space between the lips and gums at the front of the mouth is much more efficient way to do it, even if it does burn its much less irritating then burning nasal passages Razz

I tried the RIMA nasal spray alone. 3 sprays. It's tingling (ok, slightly burning) but nothing serious.
I tried the nasahuasca the next day.... 1 spray. THE PAAAAIIIINNNNN.
I will check the PH and see if I can get it more neutral.
