Has anyone on Spice left their eyes open for the entire trip through a big big hit or a breakthrough trip? I have Kept mine open but not on
huge hits. I always say I will, but either end up forgetting to or unconsciously close them. So has anyone left theirs eyes open?

It's a tricky thing to do because I find that blinking sort of disrupts the visual experience, so I end up in a staring contest with hyperspace essentially. My eyes long so much to shut, but things can get pretty whacked with my eyes 100% open the whole time as the scenes become weirder and weirder until they finally degrade. This is inevitably accompanied by tears streaming down my face (oddly enough it's usually from one eye), and that when I finally do at last allow my eyes to shut, I am usually treated to watery loving visions.

I found my old experience. Didn't Blink

I've done it a few times. When you do it in a group setting it's absolutely amazing. If everyone opens their eyes at about the peak of the experience some real magic occurs. You close your eyes until it kicks in and then open your eyes and it's like everyone is in some surreal alternate reality.

One time a group of us smoked changa sitting around a fire and the fire took on the most awesome form, almost like it was a sentient being joining in on the experience. Everything took on a pixelated form but the pixels were and interlocking mosaic of several different organic forms. It was one of the most beautiful awe inspiring experiences of my life.

We did it right on dawn as all the animals and birds were stirring, and a bird flew past at one stage. I truly appreciated the beauty of nature at that point, so much more than I ever have on mushrooms or anything else.

That experience made me truly appreciate the magic quality of life on this planet and how special it is, something we tend to take for granted as we get older.

When I'm by myself I prefer to keep my eyes closed until it wears off.

I prefer to keep my eyes closed and sometimes I wear eyeshades, but on a large enough dose it really hasn't made much of a difference. There have been a few times when I wasn't even sure if my eyes were open or not, and trying to open/shut them had no effect on what I was perceiving.

I love keeping my eyes open for my experiences lately. Although, with my Acacia changa I have not had any closed eye visuals lately.. No idea why...

Mimosa gets me every time though!

It's easy for me to have open eye experiences with moderate doses.

The most recent experience was some kind of ancient stone god growing in front of my window with a little elf on his shoulder. He then procceeded to grow the most beautiful rainbow coloured deer antlers and then came through my window. A rainbow coloured beam came from his third eye, connected to my third eye and we remained in this position for a couple minutes while he "uploaded" something that felt like encrypted information into my brain.

Real breakthroughs however happen with closed eyes because the world as I see it turns into something I cannot understand.
