Cirrus Sapiens by Skytree is a great album to listen to when exploring.

Certainly a psychedelic element to his music!

PINK FLOYD.......HANDS DOWN!!!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, MESSAGE ME FOR A LIST OF GREAT LAUNCH MUSIC BY PINK FLOYD......

I WILL TRY TO COMPILE A LIST AND EDIT MY POST SOON.......

I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention by using totally fictitious verbiage...........

The above refers to the fictitious 'I'

This is one of my favorites by the canadian ambient composer Mike Carss(Altus). It' s also perfect for mditation before launching.Smile You can download all his albums for free from his website.

hello fellow nexians Pleased

I love listening to and making myself ambient music (among many others),

i have to mention two names for this thread :

Steve Roach

and

Alio Die

I guess they might have been already mentioned and discussed in this thread already, but

as i happen to listen now for the first time to Steve Roach' newest release and one of the tracks called "Perfect Sky" instantly asked me to post in this thread ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-Elkhy_MQk

well this is not the track i mean, but just to get the idea..

Also Alio Die

his music is magical.

This is my favourite piece from him :

I love sleeping on similar music. I've got a playlist on portable stereo with only ambient and drones Smile

I have experiecned extraordinary sleep phenomena with such experiments and have been doing for years before, but not so lately.

(This, btw let me realize years later that Cannabis also takes me to a hyperspace, different than the hyperspace of DMT or the world or entities of mescaline (or who knows..) ...

Anyway, i haven't had an experience with spice on music yet.

But i've just found out a new favourite piece of music to try with when i make up my mind.

Best regars!

New member first post.
I know someone else mentioned Lee Ranaldo, my vote goes for Sonic Youth.
Awe inspiring soundscapes (in my opinion anyway)

Happy Travels

Don't know about DMT yet, but during meditations, I prefer utter silence. Am I the only one?

Lots of people prefer silence for DMT trips and meditation. In fact, I'd say silence is typically more preferred than music. Though, sometimes music can brighten the experience.

I'm liking James Blake's albums and FKA Twigs' LP1. Brilliantly spacious and chilled out. Cupids Head EP by The Field has some nice tracks too. Smile
