Hey guys, I was in the process of making pharmahuasca with ACRB and it was all going well I'd done a few brews with 15g each, but after making a more potent mixed (used 60g and long hours of cooking/reducing/filtering to produce around 300ml it has been sitting in a bottle for about 3 weeks. I've started to feel unconfident in the... healthiness of the brew as I used egg whites for tannin removal and I'm worried it will make me violently ill after sitting in a warm place for a long time with the very small and few egg paricles that would surely remain in the solution.

I have now decided that I will simply use this brew to extract the DMT itself, something I have never done but I am familiar with the process after browsing this and other sites for a long time.

So after reading around and hearing that thick-light's tek is the best for ACRB

I've decided to follow his guide. In his recipe he uses

500g ACRB in 1.5lt of water (after boiling etc)
150g of lye
600ml of Naptha

So given that his total brew is roughly 8.3x stronger than mine, I'm wondering what proportions of naptha and lye I should be using. Should I simply use 8.3x less than him, or does it not quite work like that?

If I add some more water to my mix to make it easier to work with, this is what I'm picturing:

500ml water (60g ACRB)
18g Lye
72ml Naptha

I understand my final yield won't be very much, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Seems ok but I would go with just 50ml of warmed (NOT HOT!) naptha and maybe a couple of tablespoons of salt.

The amount of lye is dependent on the volume of your liquid, NOT the amount of plant material used. For 500ml anything between 4-20g lye would work, with 20g being preferable (i.e. more foolproof)

The amount of naphtha is irrelevant to the plant material but usually 1/10th of the aqueous volume is recommended. Smaller pull volumes will require more pulls, but large pulls will make freeze precipitation inefficient/impossible.

Great, thanks heaps! I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
