So, it's not exactly a big loss, but my most prized spice (whitest, best smelling, smoothest) has gone missing. I check in my normal spot and it's just not there, check all my other spots, it's not there. I have no recollection of me touching it besides when I put it away last.

I'm pretty certain it wasn't stolen, so now I'm left feeling like a disrespectful spice handler.

And now looking around the room for it like a crazy man, obviously can't be mad at myself but how would you all react to losing your favorite spice?

It wasn't too much, but I feel like a parent losing one of his babies (okay probably not that bad, but a similar feel).

Just taking it as a lesson I suppose, be more careful, keep things less of a mess and move on.

If only I would have kept it in it's jar and not in a bag right next to me for easier access.

Guess I should probably just be happy that all of it isn't missing. finding it hard to go to hyperspace now that all I can think about is where it could be though.

Already pulled more so that doesn't need to be said, I suppose I'll have a day of remembrance for my fallen elf spice brother.

Edit: I've officially looked everywhere, goodbye my old friend.

Edit: My memory fails me again, I didn't think the spice I had found was the same as the stuff that was my favorite, due to putting it in a small plastic bag for storage instead of a glass container as usual, it aged quicker, turning yellowish, thus confusing me thinking that was my yellow bag and I couldn't find the white one, not remembering that I had already smoked the entirety of my yellow spice.

Well that was a frantic morning, and I think I'll be starting a journal for my spice endeavors as a written remembrance so I don't have to rely on my less than grand memory system for recollection.

I would still like to hear from you all, how would you react if you lost your favorite smoke in the world?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Aha, yep that's about how it went, I feel this is a silly post now as any one would have the same inner " oh no, what did I do" feeling.

But writing about it gave me something to do besides worry.

I enjoy cooking with a collossal collection of spices, my personal favorite being Peppercorn. If I lost my peppercorn I would briefly search the kitchen, get bored, proceed to get stoned, forget about what i was looking for and make some hamburgers, remember that I have no peppercorn when it comes time to season them, run to the store and buy moar peppercorn.

If i lost my favorite smoalk in the world I would trace my steps and look for my smoalk. If i am unable to find it, i would bide my time until i can get moar of it.

I don't smoke spices. I smoke drugs.
'"ALAS,"said the mouse, "the world is growing smaller every day. At the
beginning it was so big that I was afraid, I kept running and running, and I was glad
when at last I saw walls far away to the right and left, but these long walls have
narrowed so quickly that I am in the last chamber already, and there in the corner
stands the trap that I must run into." "You only need to change your direction," said
the cat, and ate it up.' --Franz Kafka

On my 1st xtraction (March) I saved 0.15mg of freebase and re-X the rest...
I have not tested it since I made it bcoz im not one for blind dosing and wanted to wait until I have the tools (i.e the scale and VG). So Last week I receive my VG and scale, I decided two days after that, that I would now finally test ym 1st batch... Start preparing by packing everythiing out in a neat clean way, Open the foil I had folded my freebase into and placed it all neatly, Then I noticded a crumb or sometthing and decided that I must not be in my workspace, so I blew it off the table and with that WHENT MY FREEB!!!

I was between the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" reaction and the Crying or very sad Shocked reaction.

Mananged to scrape up 0.03mg, and that was that.

.....still havnt tested my own batch since I made it...

I'm very sorry your loss, my condolences.

This has never happened to me, but I am extremely fastidious about where I place things.
Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

I have not lost any yet, but if i do, i am prepared to make myself believe it was an intentional sacrifice to the DMT realm. I've spilled some on the ground - a few times - and I just pretend that it's my sacrificial offering and continue with whatever it was that I was doing before. Smile
Sometimes it's good for a change. Other times it isn't.

It would kinda suck, but I'd get over it pretty quick. Now if my LSD went missing I'd be a little more upset haha

I knocked over my jar with my latest batch of changa last night, right into my fuzzy bed spread Sad

Was able to scoop most of it up, but lost a good portion of it. No big deal, easy come easy go! It's not like it was the last elf-spice on the planet Big grin

If the universe really wanted me to have that bit of changa lost in the fuzzy crevices of my blanket, then it wouldn't have had me knock over the jar.

DMT is so unpredictable in effect, If I were to misplace my very last DMT, I would somehow go with the logic that is just being unpredictable in the spacetime continuum.

I'd look briedly, then just decide that it must not be time for a journey. Stubling across it in the future I'd possibly decide, that now is the time and smoalk moar.

So it happened again, my latest blend of changa was knocked all over my dusty floor. Going to take a break for a week from hyperspace, obviously I'm being told something Big grin Either that

or I'm just a clumsy SOB.

Losing too many eighths of solid in my youth has led me to being incredibly careful with where I keep my drugs.

If I lost my spice, I'd probably be happy in the knowledge that I have plenty of other substances to hand, and that it's mushroom season soon! Now, if I lost the pouch with all my other drugs in, then I'd feel mugged by life itself.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

I'm behind secure networks so no-one flame me for my openness.

One time I had 9 grams of pure fluffy white I'd extracted.
My intent was to extract a bunch at once so I didn't have to keep ordering mimosa, in-case it got banned.
Someone stole it. How would I react? I was completely bummed. DMT to me is like an ally that keeps me on track. It was like losing a good friend.

A little later, I tried the same thing again but because of a drunk causing a fight, I got searched by the police and they took what was 7 grams. Luckily for me, one had pity on me because of how the night went and no lie - they let me slide after telling them what it was. Talk about shitting bricks.

Now, Mimosa is hard as hell to get here and I'm reading mixed reviews on acacia confusa so I feel even more upset :/
I want my Dimitri back!!!!
