Hi all,
I have heard it's possible to use regular cheap pipe in place of a vapour genie/pipe, by using a surrounding ash layer to ensure the DMT doesn't evaporate/burn off before it's possible to get a sufficient dose.
I have rolled some into tobacco & tried nasal insufflation to no significant avail but cannot afford a vaporizer; anyone any knoweldge/experience of pipe-smoked DMT?

Enhanced leaf would be the best way for a normal pipe smoking crystals in if woild be inefficient and hard to master.

I've had great luck with the ash sandwich method. Get the pipe really clean. Longer pipes are better for cooling purposes. You'll need a screen in place (I forgot once; yecch). Put a generous bed of sterile ash down (nothing combustible left), then a cone of spice in the center of that, then another 3mm or so of ash on top. When lighting it, draw slowly and just touch the very tip of the flame to the ash- try to get its heat without getting the naked flame in there. Once the spice starts cooking you may not even need to keep the flame there, just keep pulling until either your lungs are full or the cone is spent.

I've had luck with the sandwich method as well, but I've noticed that I have to end up using a bit more DMT to get comparable effects...but I would like to note that I don't find the quality of the experience to be exactly the same compared to vaporizing. When I vaporize DMT, I feel like I'm interacting with it 100% for itself. It's a very pure feeling experience. When I smoke DMT (and this includes in enhanced leaf as well) it's not quite the same. It's visionary, there's all the colors and shapes and stuff...but it's just different. The aesthetics are a bit different. Whenever I smoke it, I always get this almost goofy alien emotion, sensation. It's almost more organic or something...I don't know. The difference is hard to describe. Personally I prefer vaporizing DMT, and interacting with it for itself.

The sandwich method has worked great for me. Though, I prefer to use parsley instead of ash.

Just be aware that when you use use an inefficient method like a pipe you can get a build up of unburnt spice in the pipe after a while. When that happens the build up in the pipe + your measured dose can be more than you bargained for.

for a few years ago, i only smoked dmt in regular pipes with ash and ash
but burning the dmt is easy..
i have never smoked the leaf product or changa only free base
btw the machine of course, is what i prefer over a regular pipe
and what are the cost MAYBE you like to buy a drill bit for a few box
it does the job a lot easyer for making a hole at bottom

at the moment, ive got few part witch act as the vg,

if you know someone who has a vg, maybe he can help you out with some replacement filters
but any way a glass on glass joint like pipe is easy to use
and you can always join diffent parts to getter
i use hammer chinese sex toy
with ceramic disks, or i find the inside out bowls also easy to use

i dont see the hammer bubbler sex toy at the moment but this one such as bowl
works great for me tiny hole in the middle, rvs or copper sponge in the stem
no water, and hit is with regular lighter easy on the inhalation
and you watch the bowl en pipe fill with dense smoke/vapor dont let the fire enter the bowl

and only the blank one does, the rest of them do not have joints at all
