The Nexus has been one of my regular stops on the web for some time now. My 2nd trip was when I came into contact with N,N-DMT. Before and after that, everything was different and yet everything was the same. It has been a milestone in my path through life and in search of truth. Other pit stops include The Bhagavad Gita, The Upanishads, Terence McKenna, Alan Watts, and Ram Dass.

To me, DMT seems like the answer to something. I'm not sure if we'll ever know or if it is the unknowable mystery. I am very glad this community exists and am grateful to be a part of it as we explore, grow, and learn.

I have started a local group for discussion and education on psychedelic topics, and love to share and receive knowledge.

Welcome! I too have found that dmt unlockes that part of you that was dorment. I now know alot more than what I did, all to speculation tho but i agree with u. Im more aware and alert when critical thinking comes to play. When somebody makes you upset, namaste, peace, and dont forget it, lol they cant hurt u unless you let them, in my recent experience. But again, WELCOME! Your with good people...

Thanks for the welcome! Smile

I agree about not being hurt unless you let it, in my recent experience too. Don't sweat the small stuff!

Welcome!

Participating in the mystery that we're all bathed in.

The thread title says it all, really.

I remember when i first started reading the Upanishads, It was after my first DMT experience and i remember i kept stopping after a few paragraphs and laughing at how it all made so much sense.

BUT , i have come to find that the answers cannot be grasped in this realm.DMT does not give answers, just better questions.
It feels familiar , for good reason.

Do you recommend reading the things you said? I'm quite down to earth, but still interested psychedelics and related topics.

If you're down to earth, you can read anything. Just don't believe anything.

I would start with either Terence McKenna - Food of the Gods / Alan Watts - On The Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are / Ram Dass - Be Here Now

welcome to the Nexus fellow island dweller, its good to have youThumbs up

The Magic is indeed the answer to a question you cant even imagine. Good work on starting a discussion group, i find that its always hard to discuss these matter with folk who havent been there, discussion groups like that must be excellent to be involved in.

anyway, happy travels

Hi Viridis, i like all the people and manuscripts you mentioned a lot as well.

If you like to dig a little deeper i like to suggest HP Blavatsky The Secret Doctrine, i've began reading it and it is extremely fascinating, i'm not saying you shouldn't take everything with a grain of salt, you definitely should, but the amount of knowledge and information is just mind-blowing.

If you have little to no esoteric or occult knowledge you will need internet access on every single page, actually, even if you have pre knowledge you'll need it, it's a goldmine for the person who seeks truth.

Godspeed.
