Reading those two threads and seeing how lightly people tread this subject my "problem" might be a non issue but I want ask anyway to ease my mind.

I have vaporized DMT quite some times with nice results but often came back with a lot of saliva in my mouth and since I always travel alone with none around to help in a potential case of emergency this started to disturb me.

I asked one of my doctors on the matter and she basically said that it is rather impossible that saliva back flows into the trachea even when unconscious (I asked in a pretty general way not mentioning DMT) and that the stable side/recovery position is in contradiction of popular belief mostly used to avoid people from choking on their vomit.

I don't think that I ever made an attempt swallow my own saliva when gone either which should eliminate every other risk but ever since this thought really started bugging me I didn't feel like smoking spice.

I would highly appreciate any thoughts on this.

Aren't you afraid it's going to happen while you're sleeping tonight? Wink

My g/f is afraid that she might 'forget to breathe' while in hyperspace or that her heart might stop and she wouldn't know. Very happy
And the worse is that she sometimes wakes up at night convinced that her heart has stopped or that she hasn't breathed in a good while. A moment of terror, and back to sleep. Surprised

I'd say you can trust your body and your doctor on this. It's a good working machinery (your body, not the doc!) that has been serving you rather faithfully for quite some time now Pleased

And don't forget :
