On my last trip, one of the more memorable things was the first "door" I shot through. After the last lungfull of spice was exhaled and my mind and body slammed back by the G-force of hyperspace, there was what looked like a petroglyphic ROOSTER shape that was strobing and pulsating with clear white light surrounded by a rainbow aura - to put it poorly. It appeared exactly as if it had been etched into a rock. When I saw it, I laughed out loud because I seemed to recognize it. It was like, "oh, yeeaaah, that thing!" even though I had never seen it in physical life. I should note that I have no particular affinity toward roosters, it seemed somewhat trans-personal. It was, however, the very first thing I saw while leaving physical consciousness so it seems not particularly significant. Still... the hilarious recognition of it and the etched quality sticks with me. This may be pure fascination with superficial phenomena, but I'm curious if any of you have had similar experiences or can offer insight into what that is. Maybe the keyhole? I don't know. I thought it might be the first mark of self-expression I ever made many centuries ago. Perhaps it doesn't matter at all - just a passing form, but it was so central and...presentational.

......More Mystery.......any thoughts or experiences you can share regarding these "primitive" forms?

This was not a trip on DMT but 4-ho-dmt(shrooms).I left my room and walked outside to a Lay on a hiking trail.I closed my eyes (I hardly ever get visuals).I saw cells that morphed into rock paintings the koi-san people used to draw. They were abstract naked African people hunting animals to live. When they faded a giant digital time clock appeared that was counting up since when they had appeared on earth. This was one of the most profound things ever and hugged a tree and cried...beautiful.
Psychedelics aren't for everymind.

That is interesting. I think these images are still apart of who/what we are, even in the 21st century.
