So every time I have broke through on DMT it has been on one huge lung full. Well last night my girl and I made infused leaf from chamomile, mullein, and lemon balm. After it was done evaporating I packed a full bong and took one hit but made sure I stayed by the bong in case it wouldn't be enough. It wasn't too overwhelming so I milked a second one and took it. As I was clearing it the effects from the first one were hitting hard. I felt so peculiar and I knew i was going to be gone for a while. After I exhaled I went to put the bong down to lay next to eve and she said "no babe you have to take the third!" "Everything you've got"

Somehow I managed to light it and clear the rest of the bowl pack and I played down.

Now this experience was just as intense as my "too intense" journey, but with the dose separated, it was a much more comfortable transition to hyperspace. This time when I was there it was different, but it wasn't? I instantly recognized the space I was in and I started looking around. The first thing I noticed was that I got the vibe that I was like in an incubator or womb deep in the earth. Hall of records perhaps? There weren't individual beings like usual, but the whole entire trip took the form of a motherly and comforting energy. It was the SAME PLACE as the overwhelming insanity on sunday but instead of being totally mind blown, the shapes and symbols there enstilled a universal understanding in me and I felt incredibly at peace. I felt like I knew exactly what DMT was about at that point and felt incredibly enlightened and like I had discovered the secrets of my existence.

One thing that I definitely noticed was my strange internal dialogue. It wasn't my usual talking to myself, but I was like listening to my soul picking up this information like a radio. I don't know how to describe this dialogue but certain words stuck out and rang through the whole thing (sometimes on LSD words do that to me)..... one word I kept thinking/hearing over and over was EXPERIENCE and I kept thinking about how this is MY experience and I was experiencing the best part of myself.

I stayed there for almost ten minutes. When I came back to my room I was extremely loaded and I told eve that I understood now. Like I understood what it was trying to tell me. I looked over at a collaborative paining her and I were working on And the two sides started spinning and merged and let out a huge pink explosion of love and my room turned into like A castle or something. O started doing a silly little dance and said I was riding the wave of my etherical mother.

This experience went for almost a half hour which confused me. Does taking three hits make it last longer than just one? Has anyone had any strange realizations about their inner dialogue? And has anyone been able to remember any of these understandings? I forgot them as soon as it wore totally off :/

It's certainly plausible from the body's perspective that one huge mega hit the body may attempt to clear it out faster than 3 hits taken in more managable successions. One big hit shocks the system. A few hits allows you to kind of acclimate your systems a little gentler and by the time the 3rd dose is intensifying everything, the first one or two hits are already stabilized.

Thats at least the way Id see it going down. I know when I took one mega hit I know I truly shocked my body. Everything was on fastforward and I was just catapulted with unreal intensity. It wasnt good. 3 hits for me from now on always

Sounds like some MAOI effect as well, did you have any in your mix? Any meds in your system?

The experiences can differ so much that it difficult to base anything off even a few dose's. If your looking for a more gentle entrance adding harmala is a much more efficient method rather than dosing in multiple hits.

Beings that dmt can be so variable I like to be as accurate as possible with the parts have control of. Weighing the dose, getting it all in one, proper device ect.

Unfortunately I haven't tried any MAOI yet, I just successfully tapered off my SSRI and have been off it for five days, so I still have to let the SSRI work its way out before I do. I also plan on using unreduced caapi tea daily as an anti depressant. Heard it works incredibly well.

Great to hear you saw the other side! There is really nothing like it.

SSRI's can take a good amount of time to clear the system, and it is possible that only 5 days left some residuals that could have altered/prolonged your DMT experience. Although 5 days may have cleared the drug from your system, it is possible your brain was still in the process of returning to equilibrium from having been ON the drug, which in turn may have impacted your experience.

That being said, This guy I know has had several extremely powerful breakthrough experiences after taking 3 massive hits held for 15-20 seconds apiece that ended up lasted for 20-30 minutes in total. That's not to say he broke through for that long, but with very high dosages of DMT taken over the course of a couple minutes the break-through would last a good 10 minutes or so, then he would feel as though he were on a HUGE dose of LSD for about 10-20 minutes as it gradually wound back down.

The 10 minutes of breakthrough always felt like an eternity, he said, and were all occasions where he completely lost who he was prior to taking the drug. He has had trips with unity as the motif where he was blissfully one with existence, (which he imagines might be what death is like), he has had entity based experiences where profoundly alien entity-type object-beings turned him physically inside out in order to know everything about him, and he has ridden what he would describe as the rosetta stone of spacial and temporal existence that imparted to him through pure visual meaning how the universe works, what consciousness is and how meaning and order get instilled in shapes and symbols, (all of which was only truly knowable while in this ego-death state of being, and the understanding of this knowledge was promptly lost upon his ego's return).

He has said on many occasions that he thinks DMT is like spinning the wheel of existence which sends one catapulting through parallel universes of existence, and if one takes a sufficient dose, all of the parallel universes become simultaneously present in one's consciousness and he will see the true nature of existence. As the parallel simultaneity of existence collapses back down into one potentiality that we call "reality", he says without fail he is left with a fleeting sense of it, but it slips through his mind like sand through grasping fingers.

Anyway, I just mention all this because it is entirely possible that your metabolic timeline for the processing of DMT is simply longer than the usually quoted 10-15 minute trip, and it could also be that much like is the case with most psychedelic drugs, the larger the dose you take the more exaggerated the timeline and intensity of the experience is, (as has been the case with my friend). In my very non-expert but experienced opinion, its nothing to be concerned about, though giving your body some more time to adjust from whatever alterations the SSRI's made to your brain chemistry might be a good idea before launching into hyperspace again.

Friday a friend came by who never did psychedelics before but became very interested in DMT the past year, now he decided to try it and he had a breakthrough after only one hit, his lung capacity is quite high (5 liters) and he held the smoke in for about 15 seconds or more before breaking out in sweat, after he came back he explained how a green entity took him by the elbow to show him around.The visuals lasted for about 10 minutes.

The second time he took another LONG hit, and held it in for a very long time, he went back immediately, this time he had a beautiful experience where he saw snakes crawl all over his body and hiss in his face.This time he kept laying down for about 20 minutes.I later showed him the artworks of Luke Brown and he identified many of his visuals with that.

What i'm really trying to say though is, when you have a big lung capacity and hold it in for a long time you probably have more chance of breaking through, but i guess he could be more sensitive for it as well.

Ah yes Luke brown! One of my favorite artists around right now for sure! You should check out Jonathan solter and Adam psybe. They paint extremely accurate pictures of hyperspace.

It's insane how talented some people are, with microscopic detail, i can look at these works for hours.

No problem! Being a visionary artist myself, I like to browse through as many artists as possible. As different as they all are, there's always some sort of common ground and that's one of the things I love so much. I was fortunate enough to come across Adam the first time I went to COSM and same him live painting. Definitely has one of the most unique styles out.

I'm illustrating my most recent breakthrough. The setting is a spherical dome shaped room with a grid, and inside the grid is a written language I see on the walls of hyperspace. Forming from the grid is an almost kokopelli type being playing an instrument with a dragon coming out of it. The experience was amazing and whenever he would play the instrument the entire color scheme and atmosphere of the room would change. Its amazing to see your experience staring back at you as you watch it unfold on a canvas!

Looks like an extremely blissful experience, good luck reproducing the writings though. I wouldn't even know where to begin, or how i'd do it, especially because the themes and colors kept changing.I think i'd try to show different transformation as they evolved.

Made me even more curious.
