hey everybody !~ ! (imagine the voice of Dr Nick, on the Simpsons ...) Check this out ! An hilarious spoof...! http://en.wikipedia.org/...Flying_Spaghetti_Monster http://www.venganza.org/ But seriously now, remember that thread on the loving Octopus..>!~ and the stories about 'Opticus' .>?! Seriously still, for swim, an after effect of dmt use is the discovery and the implicit belief that God is a hyperspatial, multi-tentacled being ! From early dmt trips, my best rendition of the AllThatIs-creature-of-infinite-loving-and-creative intelligence (ie GOd !), is as a cosmic-jellyfish ! I believe that in this flesh-and-bones reincarnation I find myself in (ie my body now), I am simply just one of the super-sentient 'suction cups' on one of God's tentacles. There are tentacles from hyperspace that reach into every one of us living creatures. I have believed this since my first 6 dmt trips, and then I discover I'm not alone ! It's not so strange that some other folks 'believe in' "sphegetti Monsters" ... "Opticuses" ... too In my version of the Spaghetti Monster myth and others we've heard about, the Hyperspatial-Jellyfish loves each of us sooo much ! Which is obvious since we are it's super-sensitive 'suction cups' or 'tips' - it's feelers down here in physical, matter-bound, 3D reality. when I wake up each day The Cosmic Jellyfish lets one of it's suction-cups 'touch' down in the physical reality. When I sleep again each day, God's tentacle 'lets go', and then swings around again in hyperspace for a bit, but touching-down when I wake up again ! Who else believes in a version of God that is an all-tentacled being ...?

[quote:ecaf93f18a]When scientific measurements, such as radiocarbon dating, are made, the Flying Spaghetti Monster "is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage."[/quote:ecaf93f18a] Hah [quote:ecaf93f18a]The Pastafarian belief of heaven stresses that it contains beer volcanoes and a stripper factory. Hell is similar, except that the beer is stale and the strippers have VD.[/quote:ecaf93f18a] Hah, that's my favorite. I also like these quotes: [quote:ecaf93f18a]“Accept His Noodly Magnificence into your heart, into your soul, and ye shall forever be free. R'Amen.” ~ Ragu on Pastafarianism “In the Name of the Pasta, and of the Sauce, and of the Holy Meatballs...” ~ Ishmali Camuwundra on FSMism[/quote:ecaf93f18a] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove that what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. This is hilarious too, from the main website: [quote:1948072db9]With millions, if not thousands, of devout worshippers, the Church of the FSM is widely considered a legitimate religion, even by its opponents - mostly fundamentalist Christians, who have accepted that our God has larger balls than theirs.[/quote:1948072db9] SWIM has seen things on DMT that resembled a giant flourescent many-colored octopus or spaghetti monster. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove that what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Laughing heals so well .. . ! So does letting the imagination run wild, just for laughs ! I laughed until it hurt, The 'noodly appendaged' God of Pastafarians - "Rah-gu" ! And weirdly it also rings true in dmt terms. But then of course it's true, Aren't we all being 'noodled' by gravity and magnetism in this reality, all the time !?... Or, since I was so impressed by the familiarity of the idea of the FSM, I went Googling on a hunch, and found this - sounding like a 'spaghetti monster in soup' theory of reality: http://www.newscientist....amp;nsref=mg19325954.200 here's a quote: "This led Wen and Levin to the idea that there may be a different way of thinking about matter. What if electrons were not really elementary, but were formed at the ends of long "strings" of other, fundamental particles? They formulated a model in which such strings are free to move "like noodles in a soup" and weave together into huge "string-nets". and then... "From this, the researchers made another leap. Could the entire universe be modelled in a similar way? "Suddenly we realised, maybe the vacuum of our whole universe is a string-net liquid," says Wen. "It would provide a unified explanation of how both light and matter arise." So in their theory elementary particles are not the fundamental building blocks of matter. Instead, they emerge from the deeper structure of the non-empty vacuum of space-time. "Wen and Levin's theory is really beautiful stuff," says Michael Freedman, 1986 winner of the Fields medal, the highest prize in mathematics, and a quantum computing specialist at Microsoft Station Q at the University of California, Santa Barbara. "I admire their approach, which is to be suspicious of anything - electrons, photons, Maxwell's equations - that everyone else accepts as fundamental." ... and so I wondered, since dmt seems so 'quantum-mechanically' mind boggling, maybe dmt enables our brains to experience more of the "string-nets", (string-noodles..?.) of the universe..? ... or maybe we are more like the 'meat balls', incarnated and all...

Laughing heals so well .. . ! So does letting the imagination run wild, just for laughs ! I have to agree with that. I have been thinking about various scenarios involving the FSM and cracking up since last night when I first read this post. I read a lot all non fiction but I love the stupid humor of Simpsons, Bevis,South Park, Family Guy ect. True laughter is a pure essence, when we laugh it takes over our entire being. There is no room for anything else. When we laugh we are pure We can all use a good laugh. Ha M.V.

Pastafarianism is so hilarious! I've also seen octopus-esque beings in my DMT trips...I recall hundreds of tentacles, with blue, red, and gold patterning mixed with all sorts of glyphs etc. Amen on the laughing, nothing beats a good episode of roaring laughter. That's probably my favorite part of the psychedelic experience, and why they're such effective medicines. DivineMedicinalTechnology
