Blessed as I was, I came in contact with some of the tribal leaders of the Huin Kuin tribe (meaning True People) from Lago Lindo (Amazon, Brazil). These guys are some of the purest, friendliest, warm loving people I have ever encountered in my life.
Their mission is to help heal the world. They said that they have long kept their medicines a secret. But that now the time is right for it to be shared. Occasionally they travel parts of the world and are highly respected in those circles. In the Amazon their Shamans give traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies also to foreigners. Income obtained goes into the village community. They started to collaborate with a couple of Western people who are helping them achieve things. One of the projects, together with Living Gaia (Berlin), is to create a space for an intercultural community.
The tribes ceremony style is very soft, gently and loving. Subtle energies that raise your vibration. While their brews quite potent. Knowledge passed on from generation to generation has made them masters in using Ayahuasca as a tool for healing. Living in close harmony with nature and using their medicines on a regular basis has made them very pure of heart.
They will guide you into respecting the universe, earth, nature, yourself and others. In teaching you how to do so, you become an other node, spreading love, passing it on to others. That is their main intention. That's the real price they hope you pay. It's why they thank
you when you thank them. That was my experience.
In September 2014 they are organizing: Festival Huni Kuin Xinã Bena 2014. Located in Lago Lindo Acre Brazil. The festival aims to educate foreigners about the indigenous way of life. It is full of art, culture, music, dance, handicrafts, nature, and includes ceremonies. Check out the pictures of their village on the facebook page, you will be amazed..

I told them I will spread the word. It's the least I can do for what they have done for me. And thereby also helping you to find a trustworthy place in the Amazon, as not all seem to be (see
this post I wrote, section 2.4).
I highly recommend these people.
