Im receiving some kambo sticks soon that i will use to treat chronic lower back pain.

I have been doing alot of physio and i think ive cleared out most if not all muscle imbalances and crap that had put strain on my lower back.

I think most of my symptoms now are from overly sensirive nerves and fear/tension of reinjuring the area.

Im working on changing my line of work to something less physical and hopefully i can start studying soon.

Im hoping that a dose of kambo can help me clear up whatever emetions and tension that is left in me.

Did another sesion today and it was alot stronger even though i had less dots this time.
Did 13 the first time and 11 today, from what i understand these are very strong doses but the shaman said she felt i could handle it.

No purging yet though which is something i rarely do from aya or any medicine for that matter.

Is it helping with the discomfort at all?

I've always been intrigued by practical use of kambo.

Its hard to say since im generally pain free nowadays.
I do have some painful flareups from time to time.
I do however feel that kambo helps me deal with my anxiety and to face my fears which is even more important.
Also i got real strong connection with the lady who puts the dots on me.
She has been into plant shamanisn since the eighties and have studied psychology.

You could say that ive found a mentor and doing a intense kambo cleanse is a way for me to prove to myself that im not just trippin balls for the fun stuff.

I've been self administering Kambo on a monthly basis since the beginning of the year. Using it primarily to increase the strength of my immune system and for general purification. I used it first with a shaman at the beginning of last year in 3 sessions. He left me some to help deal with a problem i and a friend were having, so i got used to administering and self administering.

The intensity of the experience depends on several factors IME. The size of the points matters (i have 2 sticks i burn with, one smaller, one larger). The smaller stick leaves less scarring but is far weaker than the larger points. The moistness of the kambo matters, more moist will help it absorb faster. You can also take the points off after the main effect passes, mix them up with water again and reapply. Unless you are applying very small amounts there is usually quite a bit left that can be reused. How fast you apply the points also matters obviously, as you get a higher concentration into the bloodstream at a single time.

Other factors can also come into play, like the outside temperature, time of day, your own physical condition and how often you use it. I have worked my way up to 13 large points. It's still not as torturous as some of the video clips I've seen, but I'm just over 6 foot so it takes more for me to feel it strongly. I've done over 20 small points and it was comparatively much weaker.

Care needs to be taken when using this though, its a poison after all. I've seen people virtually pass out on small doses. A friend of mine had some applied by a shaman at the end of an ayahuasca session and he was practically dead for a while (luckily he was revived). Quite shocking to witness. Shocked

viva kambo! Very happy

Nice to hear that someone is doing this by themself.
Im hoping to get there but it wont be easy to burn myself with a stick though.

Hopefully this intensive kambo regime will cleanse me from fear and doubts so i can do this without hesitations.

I think it's the good way. First times, get it applied by someone experienced if possible. If this person can then teach you how to self apply then, there you go.
That's how I did too.
Now I can self apply or apply it if I feel (but please be very careful, it can be lived very intensely by people you don't expect, and some people faint and all, it's very serious thing to administer it to others).
I plan to do one this evening, I use also nearly once a month for my chronic blood auto immune illness.
Instead of eating pharma pills everyday. Again, this could be tricky but so far I don't risk a lot.
Smell like tea n,n spirit !

Toke the toke, and walk the walk !

Thank you all.
Ive looked around a bit there Jox but havent joined yet.
I feel i want to just experience this medicine more right now before reading to much.
Im truly feeling the frog spirit and dont want to fill my mind with to much info or expectations.

I did another sesion with 13dots yesterday and physicly this was the strongest! The shaman said she really pushed me and put more venon in every dot.

My face swelled up alot more than before and i could not breath from my nose at all.
Had to actively breath from my mouth slowly to not panic.
Still i didnt feel much nausea and not close to purging just a strong body high and fear mixed with anxiety.

Wonder why you are not purging.

I am sure you had a lots of water before, like 1,5 liter.

What comes to mind is how big your burns are, I make them quite big, you can roll the stick to make them bigger.

Also keep in mind that it does leave marks, my arms by now look pretty messy since I have been doing it so much, so I started to apply it on the legs, I don't see much difference.

I almost never purge from ayahuasca or san pedro either.
I usually only suffer a little bit of nausea from any of these medicines.

I did have some cleansing coming out the other way a few hours after my kambo sesions.
