I am going to start with saying, i am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section however i don't seem to be able to post else-where being a new member.

I was up all night again Google-ing and i stumbled across this MIT Open Courseware there are numerous course materials and assignments you can download straight from them including Organic Chemistry.

It is obvious that these are not for the UN-initiated chemists but i feel it may be of help to some of you out there i personally find them interesting and wonder how you all feel about these?

Thumbs up or Thumbs down ? You decide! (sorry i could not help my self)

Problem Set #2
1. Circle all the electrophilic carbon atoms in the following structure. Explain your answer with resonance contributors.

Uhm...what?

lol

Interesting? Yes!

Helpful? Not #1 from problem set2!

Maybe there's some directly relevant stuff amidst the other coursework that we'd find both interesting and helpful, though. It'd be a lot to comb through Big grin

I have found reference to "Acidity and Basicity" in the Organic chemistry part 1 (spring 2005) which should have some relevance to the processes we would do here.

The reference along with some PDF's can be found in the Lecture Handout's part of the page.

I do plan on going through the materials on there at one point in search for more relevant material to compose together for people... but that will have to wait until i have more time and knowledge as i am currently relearning chemistry my self at this time..
