A while back, when i had health at school, we discussed drugs and how bad and horrible they are. Now, of course, most of the discussion was focused around marijuana, opiates, opioids, stimulants and only slightly touched on psycodelics. We were bombarded with information about the damage to the lungs smoking can cause, liver damage from alcohol, horrible addictions to different substances, like meth, but nothing on LSD or mushrooms. The only negative thing i knew about LSD back then, is from a poor memory of some documentary, where the man, who was being interviewed, compared a LSD trip to hell. To me, that didn't make sense, why would people want to visit hell?

I started researching more on these substances, on the way, i found my, now, go-to website for anything psycodelic: "erowid.org," which many of you probably know. I didn't know where to get any of these substances: i don't have many friends, and ones i do have are strongly, irrationally anti-drug (because, you know, they are all the same and horrible). This lead me to experiment with nutmeg, which didn't go well, as i could never eat enough to trip.

For few months, i stopped thinking about psycodelics and gave up, thinking I'd never be able to get some, but then i learned about psycodelics muchrooms, and that many people around my area collected them. Sadly, it was winter, and soon after i moved countries, still not in a mushroom season. Finnaly, i decided to order the stuff: first, just to get the sense of what a chemical can do to you, i had some cannabis oil infused lolipops. They had a great taste and the high was amazing. Later, i got some acid. Did a tab, half a tab, one and a half tabs, now, i have two more left, and unlike previoiusly, this time, i plan to take it in the comfort of my own home, rather then bike somewhere in a state where only part of my conciousness is in reality. It was a nice way to celebrate bicycle day, though!

All this brings me here; next thing i want to try is DMT. I have always been facinated with conciousness, dreaming, etc., and this seems like a logical thing to do, in order to further explore the subject!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Welcome to The Nexus!

Glad you had a good experience so far with these substances. Regarding the `hell` part, a psychedelic experience can definitely take you to hell, and 90+% of the times its some issue with dosage, set and/or setting. So definitely be mindful of that. But even once all of that is taken care of, whenever we take these substances, its like we are signing a contract where we accept the risks such as possible delusional trips, encounter with negative entities, etc. It´s not something to decide light-heartedly.

Please check our health and safety section if you havent yet, has some good info on preventing those negative experiences.

Can you describe a bit more how was your acid trip so far?

Also with DMT, are you considering taking it orally like ayahuasca or analogues, or vaporize it?

And... How old are you btw?

Thank you! I will read that as soon as possible.

My acid trips, so far, were very nice. Even though the first time it was quite scarry.. at one point i thought that life is only a dream and i'd fall on the ground and "wake up." That was not the highlight of the trip though, i love all the patterns and colors that covered every surface, and closed eye visuals of a strange stone temple laced with glowing sigils were simply amazing. Interesting repeating thing during all the trips was the "insane carnival." The carnival is a strange infinite world covered with an eternal array of similar, strange carnival like rides (not plural, same one ride repeated forever). In close eye, or dark room visuals they appeared to be made of metal, but once, at a park, i stared forward for sometime and all the trees turned into those crazy rides. The whole concept seemed eerie and insane... eternal rides, no one there but me..

The rides themselves, if looking at the trees, could be described as following: the trunks of the trees are the stationary support beams, main/big branches that come off spin around or move in some way around the trunk, and the smaller branches/twigs made up the cabin the riders would sit in. Some branches would simply go in a circle, others would rotate in other ways.

I'm planning to vaporize it first, just to get the handle of it and get used to the short length of the trip. Maybe once with MAOI if that is a good idea. Then i'll try ayahuasca.

I'm 18.

Hello back! Wow dude, you want to go straight from LSD to DMT? That's a huge leap. You are only 18 you say? I'm in 2 minds as to what advice to give you. Far be it from me to tell you what you cannot or should not do. That would be hypocritical of me, I was not much older than you when I smoked it. It was overwhelming to me. Hugely powerful stuff. As I came back to from the trip one of my first thoughts was, "I can't believe that there is a substance out there this strong"! Take it if you want to mate. Perhaps you should try some of the other things first, like mushrooms, cacti or salvia, in order to build up to DMT? It's life alteringly powerful stuff my friend. As in, your life will not be the same afterwards.

Thank you!

Well, i was building up doses of LSD to my final one of advertised 270µg. I realize that it is still a big jump from LSD to DMT, but from what i have learned, through research, that mushrooms do not last as slong as LSD, and have fairly similar properties. I also don't have that much money at the moment, saving for airplane tickets, so I'm trying to avoid anything that is hard for me to get and would cost a lot (Mescaline, Salvia, Mushrooms).

I actually want to try Salvia after DMT, because, from experience reports, it seems that Salvia can be more frightening, with more body feelings involved, and, like Ketamine, is closer to a dissociatives (which I want to try later, and want to group the experiences).

I'm actually very excited about it being that strong! Yesterday I purchased some supplies to make the vaporiser, and I'm quite hestiant of breaking a hole in the glass at the moment (I got a glass salt shaker). Any tips?
