Odd looking KSSS Options

These are KSSS grown on corn cased in coir/verm + sodium carbonate
A bit odd looking, but its first flush - il post pix of the later flushes as swim anonymously emails them to me.












this is just an interesting spore print from an amazonian taken recently



and a Golden Teacher Liquid culture made with 1.5g malt extract, 1.5g dextrose, 97ml water

im not a big shroom expert (beyond eating them) although id like to be
what do you see thats odd the purple coloration? or do they just not resemble the strain you grew?

They look very much like Panaeolus species. They are most certainly not a P.cubensis stain.

sorry - sorry - but yeah, they are a cubensis - swim got the strain from a person, these are the original ones http://forums.mycotopia....24388-ksss-mycoporn.html - very ksss, the print swim got was huge(another ksss sign) then swim grew them out on dung and corn and this was what they looked like





those were an isolate - the strain must have a good few fruiting types, the ones above are from multispore - obviously a different type.



Swim always thought his tk and ksss looked very pan like - everyone, said swim was wrong. swim gave up - the tk(transkei gathered wild locally - nobody elses grown it outside south africa) is the most potent mu swim has ever eaten - at least 3x as potent and totally different too.

Second flush started about 48 hours after dunking - this time its far more ksss like (well half of them are) take a look
