Hello everyone,

I'm doing Noman's TEK, except replacing naphtha with Bestine Heptane. From what I understand, heptane isn't the best NP solvent to use when kept at room temperatures. I plan on heating it slightly in order to optimize yields. I'm going to be using a hot water bath for this.

1. Should I still be using the 1 ml/g ratio specified in the Noman's TEK?
2. What temperature should I try to get the heptane at without risking an explosion or something of the sort?

2. Warm to hot, it's not going to explode.

Would work but I dunno so would a couple hundred mL. Anyway get that stuff nice and bubbling/boiling them mix it with your basic solution keep it warm if possible.
