The identity of questionable "street" samples is unrelated to the properties of the compound itself. But the synthetic versus natural discussion has been debated ad nauseaum on the forum, so I will leave you to your opinion for now.

the whole paranoia and nazi propaganda out to get me situation is scarily close to what i experienced whilst in a psych ward for 3 months after smoking a local bush plant which contained tropanes. definately not cool when you're freaking out like that, and actually seeing and talking to people who're not there. thats delusion and not hallucination, you must have either been exposed to something nasty or as said by other such a bad comedown that it freaked you out completely. its your life, but i wouldnt be taking coke or any other kind of uppers in conjunction with psychadelics, just not worth it.

Yeah, I'd pretty much say that a coke habit mixed with an unknown psychedelic and a history of mental health is your root and cause there.

I've been involved with coke myself. Unlike most people, I don't dismiss it entirely - I've even had a lot of fun with coke (and even while on acid!) - but there is a reason I now automatically turn it down. Not fun to quit (thank Christ I had psychs for that), but needs to be done. It's not healthy, and can create and complicate mental health problems. Plus, talk about burning a hole.

As for the wider subject of RCs, I've had my run in with a few, and only had good times. 2CI, from my experience, would not have triggered such a trip. One thing I found with 2CI is that my head was a lot clearer than other trips - more a visual affair than anything else. That said, I'm guessing with the coke and the mental health, it may well have played a role. Sounds pretty severe though - more like an episode than a bad trip.


As for synthetic vs natural, I guess its entirely preference, really. Out of lucy, mesc, and shrooms, I'd probably pick LSD, then mesc, then shrooms. All roads lead to Rome though.

I had a similar experience. I was in Vang Viene in Laos. It was a Friday night and we (I was travelling by myself but had met up with other backpackers as you) were going to the Jungle Party that they advertised.
At the first pub met some british guy who worked there and he sold me some LSD. I took my half and gave the other half to a French hippy chick.
Carried on drinking. Took another half of acid and went to the bar. Went halves with the French girl with a mushroom shake. Then it hit me both the LSD and the Mushroom shake. French girl said she was going to go for a walk into the nature, I followed. French girl started growing pixie wings and was skipping down the path. Every where she skipped lit up like a small light tile under her feet. The trip got even more serious, first it went cartoony then it went all the way. Next thing I know the world just turned into a 3d Computer grid. I just saw all these engergy lines flowing every where and when I looked up into the sky it turned into Google sky maps, with all the lines connected between the stars. A big serpent/snake was flying up in the sky. I could see all the energy and I heard a voice saying 'Come join us'. It was crazy, amazing, euphoric then the trip went bad, real bad. The higher you go the harder your fall right??.
I started flipping out bad big time, I thought that the jungle party was a place where back packers get drugged up and killed on the dark web. It started spiralling out of control. There were some guys standing around the fire with aprons on like a bad gore horror film, saying 'lets get this party started'.
I ditched my friends and left, didn't tell them I left. Was walking down the road missed the last tuk tuk. By then I had lost it. Now I thought I was on some game show where they hunt down humans and they were filming it on the dark web. I got to the end of the road and a scooter stopped, and they were looking at me and I heard them say 'Does he know yet, do you think he will start running'. I was slowly walking through this town, no map, scared. I was about to grab a brick and start throwing it at the people who were slowly circling me. It was weird.
After wards, I laugh at the thought and am amazed at the power of that stuff. I'm so glad I didn't hurt any one. Next time I'll do them when the sun is up and go into a dark room if I want to see those entities or wait 3 Hours before sunrise and take them(I met them in a mushroom trip 2 days later).
Yeah interesting times definitely doing research so I can Id them in New Zealand. The amanita muscaria are easy to ID the psilocybin ...
