Hi everybody,

I'll start by describing how I got interested into psychedelics. It's a short story, all that I describe happened in the time span of about half a year.

I always wanted to try a psychedelic (LSD) but never could because I never knew where I could get the stuff. A friend finally comes with a blotter and said it's a little LSD mixed with psilocybin. We were at a friends birthday when I tried it and it was amazing. It wasn't a strong trip, in fact, it was very mild, but I was simply blown away by it and became interested immediately.

Later I found out it was pretty unlikely that the blotter contained psilocybin. But I was intrigued by the chemical (since it shares similar effects with LSD) and decided I would try growing my own mushrooms. The first time I just ordered a ready made "Mycobox" and it worked out perfectly. Later I also made my very own batch from beginning to end using the PF tek. The trips with the mushrooms were so-so. Not that they weren't strong but the set & setting always hindered them from being more insightful.

My curiosity was only heightened by these experiences and I decided I wanted to learn (read: try) more. The best way to learn is to do it yourself, right? So now I've got Peyote, San Pedro and S. divinorum growing in my home. Though nowhere near ready to trip from these I'm willing to be patient and wait until they grow and are ready. I reckon that the peyote will be consumed last. Maybe I'll graft it onto san pedro to make it grow faster...

Recently I've also acquired some psychotria viridis cuttings and mimosa hostilis seeds. Not to mention that 20g of MHRB (as well as some Syrian Rue) Please do not mention pending deliveries Thankyou . I'm planning on creating tea from the two in the coming week. I've always wanted to try DMT, but never knew how to get started. Honestly, I thought it would always remain illusive. Something like a week ago everything fell in place and I got all the info together that I needed. One day I got really curious about DMT and off I went to search the Internet. What I found out is that DMT is easier to make and consume than I thought...

Basically, I'm interested in everything psychedelic and I love plants and making them grow. So this is like the perfect combination for me. Big grin

Glad to be part of such a great community. Looking forward to the experience!

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

Wow! All that in half a year? Talk about determination! That's the most inspiring thing I've read in, well. Ever, as far as I can recall!

Keep on keepin' on! Welcome home! Big grin Love, light and gratitude!
...Interesting, intense dreams and deep, restful sleep. I was startled when awoken, as the dreams themselves had taken on the illusion of reality, for the time that I was dreaming, they were subjective Existence, this subjective Existence was naught but a long-forgotten memory. It took me a good five, ten seconds when I awoke to realize that it was, in fact, all a dream...

Indeed. The more you know about it, the more fascinating it gets!

Nah, I guess I got infected with a love to nature by my father. We live right in the center of the city but we have a HUGE balcony where we have all sort of plants.

Plus, I like growing my own from a purely financial point of view. Some day I want to have a steady supply for my own needs and if anyone of my friends will want to try... Though I doubt that. Most people are still pretty freaked out by psychedelics. Sad

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Great intro, welcome. I've considered growing some mushrooms. Hopefully I can retrain my black thumb to a green one Smile

Please post your mhrb tea exp here. I have journeyed w mimosa tea and found it very deep and meaningful... Though far from gentle. Mhrb is pretty powerful...I thought my material was old or bad after trying cold tea extract reading it was active without moai. It was not for me. Next I tried 10g boil w 4g rue 3x30 min boils each.... Waaaaaaaay too high dose for me and I spent a few eternities in a void. Not recommended Smile

Thank you! The PF tek makes it pretty much impossible to screw up big time though I've made a few mistakes that cost me a few cakes but I was still able to grow some nice mushies. It's pretty forgiving.

Incidentally, that was pretty much the amount I was planning to take (either 8 or 10g). Do you recommend a lower dose in general or would the same dose with a reduced boiling time do the trick?

Figure mimosa (inner root bark) has a ~2% alk content of DMT, plus some minor betacarboline content in the form of 2-mthbc. 10g = ~200mg of DMT. With proper MAO inhibition (which 4g rue will almost certainly provide) that will be quite a doozy.

Many people consider starting in the 3-5g range (others consider 5-8g), depending on how comfortable they are with the idea of a deep psychedelic experience as their introduction to rue/mimosa. Ultimately, it comes down to your own comfort with psychedelic states of being and to what degree you want to start off by dipping your toes into the waters vs. cannonballing your way in. DMT and harmala alkaloids together are incredibly powerful and should not be underestimated.
