Hello all,
I'm very happy to have the opportunity to join this online community. I have been scouring this website and have really appreciated the level of maturity and over-all conduct of dmt-nexus members. It seems really remarkable to me, having experienced the opposite end of the spectrum with online forums. A google search of my screen name will provide you with information on what I do. Essentially I'm a Japanese bamboo flute player and I'll leave it at that.

I've been meditating since I was 17. I enjoy the teachings of Osho and Adyashanti, both of whom you can look up on youtube. I also enjoy cooking and DIY projects. At heart, I'm a musician and educator who loves receiving and sharing information. I think this is a great time to be alive with so much sharing over the internet.

I have never experienced DMT or any psychedelics. SWIM plans to make DMT their first experience. SWIM will preform their first extraction beginning tomorrow from information lovingly collected over several weeks of lurking DMT-Nexus. Has really appreciated all of the information available here and hopes to give back.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

Welcome!

DMT is going to blow you away. Having experience with meditation is very helpful as it will come in handy when you dissolve.

Once you get familiarized with hyperspace I urge you to play your flute while in this mode. You'll see what I mean. I am not a flute player (I mess with strings and things) but I know it's going to be something else!

Let us know if you have any questions, and SWIM does nothing we all know it's you. Are you wearing a vase on your head?

That SWIM fellow is in for quite a time then Razz. I would advise getting your toes wet with some small dose trials before you dive in all the way.

Thank you! I'm happy to hear I'll be able to play my flute. I was wondering about the SWIM thing. Thanks for clearing that up. The thing on my head is called a "tengai" in Japanese. It's a traditional basket like hat worn by the komuso which were monk/priests who had their own zen sect for flute playing. It's not required to play the shakuhachi flute thankfully Smile

Smile Thank you for that advice I will certainly do that. I have a milligram scale on the way which I read as being recommended on a thread (gemini-20). I also copied down a post on how to use it as I read they can be tricky.

Thanks for the info! Could you share with us a couple of your favorite Japanese flute players?
Perhaps you have some links as well?

I have listened to Japanese flutes in the past during psychedelic scenarios. They are such beautiful instruments. Like the breath of the forest itself.

Excellent, and yeah the cheap milligram scales can be a bit finnicky. Re-weigh every dose a few times and re-calibrate often. Good luck Thumbs up

I'm happy to. I hope I can link to youtube here.

For traditional music my first pick is Justin Senryu. Here's a nice mellow piece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xstV5pKruuU

For original compositions and covers I enjoy Cornelius Shinzan Boots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQeDu3juMvo

For modern players Yokoyama Katsuya and his eccentric teacher Watazumi were amazing:

Thank you. I didn't have anything on weighing it several more times. I will do that. Reminds me of the saying "measure twice, cut once".
