So everytime without fail I come to this place where everyone in the World seems somehow astounded by how I live my life in my psychedelic experiences. And it is just so strange too me in the experience because all the while I am thinking "I haven't really done a whole lot other than just doing my best to see myself in the other". I always feel like it is so simple, kinda why me I usually think. But coming from this place of detachment it almost seems like that state is too prepare me for something. And I'll slowly just be absolutely stunned by what is shown to me yet the Gift never seems to end. I've even mentioned in another thread that I was preparing to descend into darkness. And I guess it always seems to remind me of what I had thought growing up "That no matter what I would come back to help other's even if it took forever to change anything". "I would go to Hell and back over and over in order to help whoever needed it". And it's kinda funny because I would always think that but didn't think of the ramifications of it. I think God was with me there almost like it was going to help me through Hell. But I almost feel like it was somehow assured that I would make it through even if it seemed like I was going against impossible odds. Shocked

It isn't repeating the same trip in the sense of I need to get this. It's just one big long trip spanning 3 maybe 4 journey's now and I will be giving it another try prolly by the end of this month.

And if I remember correctly I think different things that interested me throughout my life whether music or different people would all come into play in the experience. Having music playing there even though I had no actual music on in my room. Pretty amazing stuff.

Is anyone else going through something like this or have gone through something similar that might like to share?

I really am trying to understand your post but I need more information, that post is just like a conversation with yourself.

Could you please start from the begining?

Hmm starting from the beginning damn that is going to take a long time. All I want to know is, has anyone else gone through an experience that seems to span more than one trip? Not eternal recurrence repeat the same stuff over and over. But like there is just one long trip that almost appears to span one's life. And everytime one takes a psychedelic they just begin where they left off before.

I could prolly link to other threads if you want an idea of what I've been through?

It always gives me the impression that if I get through it the world would awaken, but prolly a lot of us think that right? So maybe it is just false hope. Then again maybe it isn't that it would all go down at once anyway, rather one is just eternally coming back to try and change the state of things perhaps.

I guess if the Title is confusing, in my eyes the gift is that the world would awaken. It is always presented to me like this is what you wanted right? And everyone continually like has a hand in extending the experience. Trying to make it the best of all possible trips not without darkness but a mixture of positive and negative thing's.

I think I get what you're saying.

And yes, absolutely.

Have you every looked into Meditation/Vedic Studies? I feel like if you broadened your understanding of all of the different cultures that have used psychedelics, you would see there are many clear explanations for what you're describing.

In my beliefs, psychedelics tune a sixth sensory of ours, which enables us to perceive the reality just beyond observation. Like the saying "we are conscious/spiritual beings having a human experience'. Psychedelics are helping you tap into your true existence - that is, a purely conscious one.

How much sense did that make to you? lol

I've never been big on meditation myself but maybe if you bring it up enough I'll change my mind lol. If you have any links for meditation/vedic studies that would make it easier for me to find something that put's it all together pretty well.

I've definitely read a lot of Joseph Campbell regarding comparative myth. But as far as looking up cultures use of psychedelic not much really. Native Americans were the only ones I knew about, though I can't say I honestly know a lot about there use of peyote.

Do you think we see people as they are in this sixth sensory place? The first few times I went there I thought it reflected a lot about the actual person, then I proceeded to think I was just inventing them and maybe lost sight of it a bit. Then kinda came back to it bc I thought seeing people there as being them was more beneficial and quite possibly closer to the truth.

I agree with that statement that we are spiritual beings as well. And as far as true existence it appears it contains less reaction to event's. Almost like you could react to events around you, your entire life and never have a second of real clarity (possibly).

So ya I think I get what your saying.

Meditatin helps center ones self with contol before a journey, what does a pro motocross rider do before they hit every bumpSurprised , every jumpSurprised , every turnSurprised , every single crash Sick Sick ? They rehearse it in there mind over and over and over again, to the point where it feels like walking, breathing, livingCool .

Yes meditation is a form of focus and quick thinking when set. I highly reccomend it..... before I do something stressful i always meditate because idk what will happen, those who say they do, really dont know. But, you can make it happen the way you want just "focus" meditate and dont forget to breathe, its a rough ride. The third eye makes it so you dont need to feel those agressive blows, you do, but shrug them off waaayyyy more easily. Reaction happens much quicker cause u dont need to plan, you just react, and thats what you prepaired for, and thats practice.

Hope it helps Have fun, be safe, And I care about you all!

Thanks for the reply Darklordsson. I notice you say don't forget to breathe, oddly it seems in my experience after people are struggling to try and wake me. I do have to kind of take a deep breath and try and breath calmly if I remember correctly. This all happens as one is conscious of the body doesn't it. It's like you don't have to go way out into hyperspace because it seems to be right here. I'm assuming one reaches the point that they can just do it that way without going unconscious.

I know for me after going through some of the stuff I decided to lay off for a bit. Thinking maybe there was something more I needed to do. Conscious breathing takes place through out the entire experience doesn't it? And just trying to remain calm huh?

Thumbs up Yes, there have been times where I was counciously breathing in hyperspace but dont worry about breathing it happens anyways it just helps me channel into "that world" much smoother and worry free, I was also aware of my body sitting upright, but knew where it was, but I was also everywhere, everything. I had the exp. where I had to go to the root of my being farther than this existance, and found peace, it destroyed who I was after I questioned my own existance.... scaired the shit out of me but kept repeating to myself "I Exist Because I Simply Can" It makes sense, would you not want to exist? and beautifully reformed my soul. Ligitament questions get legitiment answers. A good state of mind Is a good state of being which is a Beautiful way of life.

We all had had our bad trips, usully its coming to terms with a prev. problem, or residual feelings, whenever theres something bothering me "Oh well, Peace....."
I just choose not to worry what does it do but cause uncomfortability, not only that but hesitation and when you have a "Mental Hiccup" you cant think fast enough to correct it.

Smooth like a slow flowing stream, agressive like a diving falcon, and as sharp a a razor blade.

But work out what you have now first before you begin your journey again, set and setting go much deeper thatn sitting at home in pjs listening to reggea, Its a state of mind.

Hope it helps! This is my Gift to you Psytherion enjoy!

Peace and Love Brother, Happy Travels!!Thumbs up Very happy

Honestly man there are so many different religions that use meditation and so many different traditions that use it as well, that it would be silly for me to post a link to one or two of them.

Just go looking and you'll find them abundantly.

When I stumbled across meditation - I literally went from a person who thought someone like Jesus couldn't have existed, to believing that someone like him could.

I think that if there's any truth to Christianity, then Jesus was a person who was telling people that they didn't need a Church, but rather to look inside themselves. If he existed he was a teacher of love, and if he meditated then he could've been an enlightened being capable of anything.

When I learned meditation, I suddenly understood what most Christians overlook about something so fundamental to their religion: prayer.

I always thought asking a man in the sky for help was silly. Especially when so often people are asking for material goods - it just seemed absurd to me.

Then I understood the real reason prayer is their tradition. It's meditation. Thousands of years later the focus has been shifted to what you 'ask for'...instead of LISTENING to hear the answers. Prayer is what used to be mediation. It all makes sense. Every religion has a way that they meditate - even if it's disguised.

Adjart, that is very true, the body is a temple and there is no need to go to church, its just been told under religion to do so I understand a great place of worship altho.

The way I go about inducing my meditation is (obviously first) close my eyes, I focus on the darkness, then my breathing, then I have thoughts, lots of chatter that mean nothing, but just to be there to distract me, let them come and go as they please, dont sit on one for too long, breath, focus, breath, and eventually your body will tune to this frequency of "ONE" then breath again... cant stress that enough, you can astrotravel, see the past, and try and give the best thought out prediction of the future. Ive been able to predict relationships falling apart, and have a whole lot of empathy, I can feel what others feel. You can do anything with meditation. Its almost if you look deep enough into yourself the answers have been there all along just waiting of the rock of this reality to be lifted so it could be exposed.

Belive in Yourself and the Sky is Just a bird Cage, theres more out there to learn, to grow and gain knowlage, like the roots of a tree seeking a neverending thirst for life giving water.

Peace and Tranquility be with you all fellow friends!

The easiest way for any beginner to have profound effects while meditating is to listen for the high pitched frequencies and/or tones.

Usually you'll hear one frequency first. Then you hear another, then another, you'll have one you hear loudest, it will be on one side of your head. The goal is to focus on these frequencies, and feel them on both sides of your head, then to bring them up in volume, and then to bring them together in the center of your brain. Working with these frequencies you'll learn there are an infinite number of them, and when you feel the harmonic resonance between them, there are things to be discovered. When you have multiple frequencies harmonizing, you can hear a tone. These frequencies, tones, and vibrations, are highways of multidimensional space and they can drag you somewhere profound.

I am a complete NEWBIE when it comes to meditating, compared to 80 year yogis, but I know that by having a non-thought type discipline, and focusing on these frequencies, I have achieved some really intense feelings. I have exited meditation sessions feeling like I'm coming down from a mushroom trip - that's a powerful thing. My thinking is the same, I have wobbly knees, I have dilated pupils, that ability to see the beauty in the mundane, etc.

One of the strange parts of my experience is the sense that I have done this whole game of life innumerable times. Like for me I for some reason like to get as close as possible to the "Storm" not really sure what else to call it. And it will emphasize it like it is a Cosmic Joke the one who seemed to have a hard time dealing with life was just doing it to get a thrill or something. Kinda like a person who is so good at a game they play it off like there just absolutely terrible at it to start lol. It's like oh no oh no the storms almost got me, and then just kidding lol. Especially wondering what I have accomplished there maybe I already finished what I started and I just forgot. Weird

Imagine that you want to play chess but you are all alone, there is no one to play with. You can play both sides, but in order for the game to have any semblance of realism, you must, when you play the whites, forget that you are also playing the blacks, and vice versa. This forgetfulness is essential for the game to take place.
Here it is - right now. Start thinking about it and you miss it. ~ Huang-po

We all need reminders, some more suttle than others, definatly! Its to the individual to keep on track to remember where they came from. It is super wierd but the more i think about it the more comforatable I am with it.

Interesting tho, you learn off of your own knowlage? That makes alot of sense, when parents tell thier kids "dont do it its bad mmkaaay" they still need toi figure out thier next move with the one they have already made, such as a decision in life and how to act with that desision... I get wut ur saying zhoro, for sure, we learn from our own experience is that what that is?
