So about a month ago I found 5 or so HBWR seeds that i had forgot about in my ethno cabinet and figured id try to grow them and possibly get to try some fresh seed for a change if they actually grew and then at that flowered. I started but soaking the seeds in warm water over night and then putting them in a wet paper towel in a zip lock baggie with some other seeds I was going to grow, and by the next day they were already all germinated. There supposed to be this hard plant to grow let alone flower indoors and so I figured id make a thread about my success lol Very happy

It has 2 flowers opening right now and at least 5 spots that have flowers growing so I should have some pictures up in a day or 2.

wow..there goes that logic. I was always told flowering is almost impossible outside of the tropics.
Long live the unwoke.

I'm in the north east of America but snozz has me second guessing the ID of it because I have some MG in there too and it would be so dis heartening if it is one of those. I guess we will see in a day or 2 if ive been fooled but i'm 80% positive that it was one of the HBWR, and its so much bigger and beast then all my MG I have in there with it.

Yeah, first picture was obviously a Ipomea....
HBWR are MUCH thicker stems and leaves, bit fuzzier as well.

Yea I need to keep track of what I plant where, plus it was all hairy unlike my other ipomeas I have in that thing so it makes me wonder what type it is.
