What kind of healing does San Pedro/Achuma have to offer that Ayahuasca cannot?

Except Mario would have some trouble running around stomping on turtles, he'd be busy purging

Ahaha. Pharma then? The purge doesn't last too long. Is Aya/pharmahuasca distinguishable from high dose mushrooms for you guys?

Anyone? Why is San Pedro used for healing when there is Ayahuasca? What more can SP do?

Also, pharmahuasca vs high dose mushrooms? Any noticeable differences?

If you got familiar with the cactus you could see for yourself.
They are very different medicines, both in pharmacology and phenomenology.
Same goes for your other question. Some things need to be experienced to be understood.

It's hard to say that one is better than the other, it all depends on context and sometimes how the experience is guided.

A few months ago I used Achuma to facilitate a profound healing in my family group.

The tea we drank was a brew made from some of my own bridgesii and it was very potent and very enjoyable for me. For my brother it was a very tough life changing trip.

I used the state he was in as an opportunity to dredge up what I'd perceived to be the root of his problems - our father. They hadn't spoken for about ten years.

He didn't want to talk and he even tried to run away a few times, but we were in a fenced yard so he had nowhere to go. I challenged him to look me in the eye and tell my why he wouldn't speak about him. That was tough for him and he went back inside a few times trying to avoid the conversation. I got sick of it and said "Come outside and look me in the eye like a man". He tried and then went back inside again, so I said "well go and hide like you always do then"

When he finally came back out he was ready to talk and spoke about his perception of the situation with our father. Then I gave him my perspective and explained what their rift was doing to our family group, they were dragging the karma of our whole family down. I explained how childish dad seemed to me (when I say childish I mean pig headed and unreasonable), but that's just him, he'll probably die that way. I told him he could choose to be like that too or he choose to be the adult in this situation to the benefit of the whole family.

Something just clicked and it all seemed to make sense to him. He looked me in the eye, let out a gasp and just seemed to accept my logic. I could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to fault my logic but he just couldn't do it. It sent him into a deep introspective mood and he really seemed to change his entire gestault at that point. His posture changed and he actually seemed pragmatic and even optimistic from that point on.

The next day my father turned up and my bother stayed in the room with him, normally he see dad and shoot through without a word. They spoke to each other and they were both civil to each other, which was a real trip for me and my mrs, normally they'd argue or even fight within seconds of seeing other.

Two days later I had to go to my fathers house so I told him I was going, expecting him to stay at my place but he shocked me and said "I'll come". So I took to dads house.

My dad was blown away when he saw him at the door and he even looked like he was going to cry.

Normally I wouldn't consider such a confrontational approach during a cactus trip for anyone. This was a bit different though I knew the situation intimately and had a good handle on his problems and his need to overcome them.

Then I kicked back and had one of the most awesome trips I've ever had.

Inspiring story. Your brother and father are fortunate to have such a brave and loving brother and son.
