Hi, Iám so sad, my very old lophophora started to be "watery"at the skin, underneath the surface i encountered ROT... from the roots up to the skin. So... i operated. Now iam left with a cut off top which also is cut in halve... Does anybody know if this part still is able to root again?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

yes it can root again
and i think you did the right thing by cutting...

this is a good time to graft if you have any columnar plants around
or.. let it callous and root on some dry sand

How tall/wide is the top portion? If it's too small of a chunk it can dry up into a peyote prune pretty easy. Like dg said, if you have any stock you should definitely graft now. If not then I hope it roots for ya. Smile

Good luck.

one button is a waste (it takes many for any type of experience- a couple buttons and some pure mescaline always treated me nicely)
i'd suggest to go buy a pedro from a nursery and learn to graft

My all time fav method is to eat crystal mesc then eat as many buttons as i can stomach. fresh and frozen buttons seem to go down easily
