Hi everyone.

I've been using Cyb's salt tek for a while now and I thought I'd try something different so I got all the materials for the vinegar/ lime tek. Everything was fine; I did the pull, put the solvent in a clean jar and added a shot glass of vinegar, rolled it around for a few minutes. I then used a syringe to take away the bottom vinegar layer which should contain the dmt; then what I did was evaporate it down in a stainless steel pan which is what this guy did: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=52865

I was left with nothing but a redish black residue which looked a bit burnt and was unscrapable. I have another pull I'm going to do, if anyone can shed some light on this situation it would be much appreciated so that I dont make the same mistake. Thanks guys!!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

You don't have to evaporate the vinegar water all the way down.

Evaporating it down is just for convenience as it is much easier to work with smaller amounts of water, sodium carb and alcohol.
So I just evap it a lot (doesn't matter how much really) but I don't evaporate it all the way. I put it in a glass pan after evapping and then add excess sodium carbonate.
If you use excess sodium carbonate, all the water will be absorbed into clumps with the sodium carbonate and then you can pull with alcohol.

Okay got it, thank you. I'll do that for the next pull and post the results. Much appreciated Smile

Also I recommend filtering the alcohol so you don't have any sodium carb/bicarbonate in your yield.
