Soxhlet extraction San Pedro


I like extraction A/B of Kash but with water is very long, and not very good for me.

So I try with soxhlet

I try to extract the mescaline with a soxhlet.
500 ml soxhlet
60 grams of powdered San Pedro
800 ml Isopropyl alcohol 96% and 0.8ml to 12% ammonium



extract for 24 hours.
After evaporate in a dehumidifier for about 8h

I'd like to know if there are better methods to extract with sohlet and other solvent?
And what is the best pH for extraction?
How to create solid from the mixture with isopropyl?
