Question: is this a typical breakthrough or is it common to maintain some kind of human mind during breakthrough?

I felt it come on, there were strong 3d visuals of a female entity dancing between two parallel flat surfaces stretching into the distance. The flat surfaces had a grid like pattern on them. The female entity was humanoid, but with a head shaped similarly to a flame, she didnt have features, her whole body was a light cream coloured white, with rainbow like colour coming off of her. At this point i thought "yep, that done it alright"

Then it got strange, undescribably strange. A part of me was taking in and analysing what i was seeing at first, this female entity continued dancing around in a shifting world, the whole image being distorted at times, stretched and compressed, and folding in on itself.

There is a blank where my mind seemingly dissolved into a mind soup, all of the usual modes of mental operation were deconstructed and dissolved into a fluid like consciousness, where ideas of identity, time and even structuring of sentences didnt exsist.

For some time it was as if i was dreaming, i had completely forgotten i was tripping, or that i used to be human, i was just a soup of colours and shapes being churned in a 4 dimensional batter folding ocean. Then, in a very limited fashion, i began becoming more lucid, i heard a part of myself thinking "wow how do i begin to describe this to my mate" but observing this made me realise momentarily that i was human and that im tripping, i tried to remember what it was like to be human, or who my mate was, but it was just nonsense that didnt exist in the world i was in. I was stuck in a feedback loop of realising im tripping but then looking at that realisation as if someone else had said it. It seems impossible to describe.

In a limited sense i thought, well thats it, im gone now, i'll never remember what it was like to be human. I was just stuck in this strange mind soup.

I began coming down and moved into a more structured state of mind, the female entity had given me the message "this is my world, welcome, its different to what you imagined hey?" there was the knowledge that she was in control. I continued watching her dance momentarily but quickly opened my eyes thinking "holy hell im coming back, what was that!?" I was still reeling, the room was spiced, surfaces breathing and objects moving in relation to one another, the lighting was changed. and so i began the journey of recall, analysis and integration, happy that my mind had returned to its "unsoupified" state.

It can go either way. I've had breakthroughs where I'm 100% lucid, and other ones where I've forgotten that I took anything at all. I tend to be on the clear-headed side in breakthroughs though, but it definitely sounds typical in regards to the folding you described and the four dimensional batter folding ocean. It can definitely get a little confusing when you're apart of a landscape that is folding itself in and out in normally impossible ways.

I'm enjoying the fact that Azot wrote something that I can totally relate to since yesterday. I'm intrigued by the reoccurring motif of a being dancing around you. My experience was very similar in that respect. I half joked with my friend when I asked him whether he thought that 'They, talk about us after we've gone back to Earth?'

Thanks for the feedback guys, its relieving to know it can go either way thanks Global. Not that this was unpleasant, it was a great lesson and experience, would be nice to explore that level of experience with a level head though. That 4d folding ocean reminded me strangely of salvia, would be interesting to try and decode it as a symbol/phenomena.

Haha Hiab-x thats an awesome thought, very interesting to think about. Its hard to describe the way the female entity was 'dancing', she wasnt dancing to any rhythm, she wasnt moving in typical dance like movements, it was like she was moving about her world freely and carelessly, just for the joy of doing it, maybe in an exhibitionistic fashion to show it to me. I dont know wether your experience has been like that at all?

I can totally relate and you made great sense to me! My first (and only so far) breakthrough I wasn't a human, or me, at all during the peak. Then I remembered, I, in fact, WAS a person. But I felt like I was my girlfriend, who was sitting next to me. Then, I thought, no that's not right, and I became both of us. Again, not right, so I bounced back and forth being either of us till it settled where it should be. Me being me.

Thanks for the report!

That sounds like a strange and awesome experience FloorFan! I didnt expect such dissociative effects from the spice but hey it makes for interesting experiences with surprising yet subtle lessons i think.
