Hey,
I am wondering if any of you have experienced something similar, in regards to getting little to no effects from a batch of changa.
I finally got around to being able to make some changa, using 91 % IPA, 30 mg of fluffy white spice, and 15 mg of Passionflower/15 mg of Calea Zacatechichi.
It took around 4 days for the alcohol to evaporate, and I decided late this morning to give it a go. It seemed like a very small amount, but after putting it into a bubbler, and layering some mullein on top, the bowl looked pretty plentiful. I tried to just light the mullein, but the bowl began to burn after my second attempt. I felt mildly contemplative, and could taste what many describe as "burnt plastic," but nothing much else was happening.
Being a bit agitated, I put a few crumbs (and I mean a few as in maybe 4) of spice in the bowl, after cleaning out the ashes, and covered it with passionflower. Again, I tried to "kiss" the herbs on top, and it seemed to work a bit better, but in any case the spice was certainly lit, and again I tasted the burnt plastic. This time, however I felt a very strange wave of giddiness come over me, and started to see faces moving around on the carpet and what not.
So the problem doesn't lie with the spice..
Next time I do this I would really like to go to hyperspace. I'm debating as to whether or not I should take the pure crystal route and get a little machine, or give changa another try. Is it possible I messed up the changa in the process of making it? It seems like a straightforward enough process. Maybe I just need to make a bigger amount of it.
