I've always been interested in closed-cycle systems. So a while ago I was wondering if one could recycle as much of a plant source as possible and reuse it as fertilizer. Example: Wash Phalaris grass Powder with a dilute aqueous ammonia solution until all of the water solubles are out; neutralize the wash with dilute nitric acid(this could be used as a good liquid fertilizer); extract out the DMT with some cold vinegar; compost the spent grass and grow more phalaris on it after adding the liquid fertilizer. This way the only thing that gets wasted is vinegar. No need for fertilizers and the like. Just an endless river of DMT.
All of my posts are Pinky and The Brain fan fiction.

It's an interesting idea. I don't think it would increase the amount of DMT you yield, but an interesting idea nonetheless. Part of a closed-cycle involved in actually smoking the DMT is absorbing and collecting the residual DMT and plant fats/oils from the GVG and revaping them. I suppose it's not really closed-cycle, but it does maximize on the amount of DMT you have to vape.
