Joshisom's acacia tek states that after first pull, to pour jar of saturated Naptha into funnel with a coffee filter and leave to dry,
It then says put the Naptha back into the jar and put it in the freezer for 24 hours.
Put the Naptha back into the gallon jar? Or the crystalization jar?

How does one re - use the same Naptha if you freeze precip It?

After filtering, put the Naptha into your recrystallization jar, NOT your gallon mix jug (I find glass baking dishes to work better than jars) and put that into the freezer. Save your coffee filter! There will be goodies on it.

After a while the DMT crystal will crash out of your solvent (freeze precipitate).
After this is done, and you collect the crystals.. Then you reuse THAT Naptha.. If you don't want to wait, you can use fresh Naptha for every pull.

Was this your first pull?
You want to keep your gallon jug mix until you can not pull/extract any more DMT from it.

It might be helpful to read through some other teks, just to grasp a better understanding of how the process works.
Though they are all a bit different, the basic science is the same.

You're filtering out floaters and plant matter so the precip jar produces clean crystals.
The 'main' jar then has more naptha added to it or you can wait 24 hrs to collect crystals and separate naptha to reuse.

Depending on bark amount you will probably have to do at least 4 pulls.

I'm unfamiliar with that tek but that's the only way I could see it working there is no point in freezing the basified solution.

This was the first pull, it's been sitting nearly 12 hours,

Seems like Its about to be filtered and freezed

A funnel is useful. Or just pour it. Hard to say when everyone works with different types of glasswear etc.

No just pour it in, why would you want to filter?

If your reusing that same solvent there is no need to filter it before putting it back into the jar, unless you think there is some floating crystals in there that you missed.
Even if there was floaters that you missed, and they get put back into your gallon jug mix. They will be extracted again with your next pulls.

Bring the naphtha back to room-temperature, concentrate it by evaporating for several hours until the volume is significantly reduced, then try freeze-precipitating again.
