On a scale from 1 to 9 how much do you love DMT?
(1 being the lowest, 9 being the highest)

Pease take a moment to explain why you love DMT. If you don't love DMT then please explain why you do not.

Because DMT is part of this world and I love it all.

That's the simple version. Very happy

[sry, had to]

DMT penetrates my soul like nothing on this planet.
...(if just this planet?_)

DMT reduces me, whatever that is, to the smallest point
then expands out to the all that is.

One moment in her womb and I am healed.
One moment with Him and I learn.

then forget

because it gives me direct access to the temple of my own infinite nature. its what religions attempt to grasp, what sacred structures like the mosques in iran try to capture, this infinite being is everywhere. with its mouth stretching through the spans of time it consumes me and the whole of creation. like moths to a flame.

somethings in the air tonight... and its hyperspace

this is why i love the experience

I'd probably give it a 7/9. I have had some of my most incredible and life-changing psychedelic experiences on smoalked DMT and aya/pharmahuasca. What i have experienced in the infinity of hyperspace is beyond mortal description. I love its effects, but its duration of action is terribly short.

I picked seven because I could not find the descending and assenting scale that is my love/fear/hate of dmt. 7 is also a good dmt number to me. At my current state I am more of a 8.5 Love
Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions but it doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

I voted 8. I love it because of it's relevance throughout history and the fact that we too share a connection with that history. It's purity. It represents the infinite. It's ability to facilitate consciousness exploration. The fact that it's a key to unlock and tune into another reality. It's just mind blowingly incredible and my first experiences with it did quite a lot for me. It was my first ever experience with psychedelics and to be able to experience that super out of this world heightened feeling of blanketed infinite love the first time was life changing.

I mean, ya know, union with the white light you could handle. An invasion of your apartment by jeweled self dribbling basketballs from hyperspace that are speaking in demonic Greek is NOT something that you anticipated and could handle!' -T.M.

I gave it a 9 because nothing holds a candle to it.

9, because only DMT was able to show me the existance of an entirely different realm of life/being.
Other Psychedelics only gave me vague notions of this realm, but DMT actually transported me into this realm completely.

I have found no psychedelic to immerse me as deeply into a truely other world than DMT has.
Seeing is believing and DMT made me see. I think that's why DMT has turned so many Atheists into spiritualists, religious people or at the very least openminded seekers/agnosts; When you SEE these divine amaterial realms and beings, there's no denying their existance anymore. Not without seriously contradicting your own perceptions and memories.

Allthough some Atheist Psychonauts will continue to hold on to their beliefs that there is no divine being/realm and that the only thing that is ultimately real is the material world; For them Seeing isn't believing. They saw the divine realms and beings, yet still denie it, "reasoning" these perceptions were merely delusions of their brain. But they seem to be a minority amongst Atheists. I think their belief system gets in the way. Their belief system makes them feel secure and in control. The intense fear of loosing that (false) sense of security and control seems to override their rationality: How rational is it, really, to dive into a world vastly different than our own, see it with your eyes, feel it with your body, hear it in your ears, come back from that realm and denie it's existance?

As far as I know most Atheists who became psychonauts have since gradually shed their denial of another, spiritual realm of existance and a creative, divine/supreme intelligence inhabiting & creating it. Or at least become more open to the possibility. Because after all for most of us human creatures, except for only the most stubborn and deeply in denial amongst us, seeing IS believing. And rightly so. Because why would a human frequently
smoalk DMT to travel to that other realm, if he/she firmly believes it doesn't exist?

If this realm doesn't exist, why then bother extracting and smoalking DMT to go there?
Go where? Big grin *

I was once quite alot more Atheist too.(Rooted in my mistrust of organised religion which I still have)
Now I consider myself bouncing back and forth between Agnosticism & Spiritualism, much prefering Agnosticism.
Only DMT has been able to make that transformation on the deepest levels. Other Psychedelics only scratched the surface of those belief systems in me.

That's why I give DMT a 9.

I gave it a 9 with a bullet. I won't get all windy with purple prose and poetic with flowery explanations; DMT has enhanced every part of my life and has given me a tool to explore my consciousness like I never have before. That and oh-so-much much. Plus, it makes me look cool.
Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

5 for me. I feel relatively neutral toward DMT. I very much enjoys it's effects and find that it seemingly enhances my life, but I could live an equally happy and fulfilling life without it.

DMT is a very profound drug, but I don't buy into any of the hype that it is somehow superior to any of the other powerfully psychoactive visionary drugs. Drugs are not even necessary to access very similar states of consciousness to those that DMT gives access to. And other drugs can take you just as deep as DMT given the proper technique and mindset. I see it as an expression of the ego to claim that hyperspace or an aya session is more profound or revelatory than salviaspace, for instance, or a K-hole. Although I see nothing wrong with taking this stance as a personal opinion.

In my mind, DMT itself is just an inanimate object. I surely feel a connection to it, but love is a strong word and I would only say I love DMT in the general sense that I would say I love the entire universe or at least try to. I do feel a love for the plants that contain DMT though. And I have a special place in my heart for the plants that I've developed a relationship with.

So I would surely say that I love Acacia confusa. But interestingly, in comparison I have far more love for Amanita muscaria despite having never experienced psychoactive effects from this mushroom that rival those of Acacia confusa based anahuasca. This is because of my long relationship with this fungus and the lands in which it grows. I would even say that I have more love for Desmanthus illinoensis for the same reasons despite never having consumed it.

DMT is a very useful tool, but I wouldn't ever say I love a tool. I don't love shovels or hammers. Though I do surely love the beings that I form a positive relationship with.

After much dispute, I'd say 9.

In the end, at least in my experience, nothing really holds a candle to anything I have ever experienced with DMT (as global said); with the exception of maaaaaybe a high dose mushroom session a while back. But I've only really just begun to work with DMT and have only relatively recently gotten comfortable enough with it to regularly dive into the meat of it, the real breakthroughs. Many of you have been working with this for years and have gone to extraordinary places I am only just beginning to creep into. Yet already DMT has changed and challenged me profoundly in ways that far surpass the initial discovery of 'traditional' psychedelic experiences. The spaces in which DMT has brought me are bizarre to say the least, but mesmerizing and exquisitely beautiful in a way that transcends words. I have a very positive relationship with DMT; and it feels like an actual relationship, with many subtleties similar to a relationship between people. I have a powerful respect for DMT but I feel more comfortable with it than most other psychedelics, so I wouldn't say that I fear it.

At first it was hard to say because LSD and psilocybin have been monumental in my development and my experiences with them will always be amongst my most treasured. I have had few experiences with Salvia; but virtually every single one of them changed me just as profoundly as my initial discovery of DMT. But in the end my experiences with DMT far outnumber those than with any other psychedelic, and in the relatively short period of time that I've been working with it, DMT continues to challenge and push me to change and adapt my perspective with nearly every session.

The sheer variety of experiences that DMT can generate also never ceases to amaze me.
"Consciousness grows in spirals." --George L. Jackson

If you can just get your mind together, then come across to me. We'll hold hands and then we'll watch the sunrise from the bottom of the sea...
But first, are you experienced?

I9...it's just so amazing. I can't really put into words why I love it so much. It's just made me realize that there is something more to this life...something I will never fully understand but just knowing there is something is awesome. I'm really baked atm so this might sound strange. lol

a solid 9

dmt has completely eliminated my use of alcohol. That's amazing in itself, but the kicker is; I don't even have the slightest urge to drink, anymore. It's not like dmt is helping me fight alcoholism...dmt has eliminated the problem. I'm someone who has struggled with alcoholism for 30+ yrs. I've been through all types of programs, including inpatient care/treatment.

9. I owed DMT a debt of gratitude for saving my life (not physically, maybe, but every other way) before I took my first hit. A renewed interest in DMT after a decade of poor choices and unconscious living led me to the nexus, yoga, breathing, becoming aware of my unconscious patterns- to opening and letting go deeply and receiving my life back in return. I would preserve and cultivate these plants from this day forward even if I never touched another alkaloid again. I love DMT deeply as a biological key to helping us understand who we really are and recognize our eternal nature. Luckily, I have a lifetime worth of experiences left, and look forward to each as an opportunity for more opening. Smile

The journey of DMT has changed my life for the better.

Before DMT: Bored, unused talent, self destructive.

After DMT: Astute interest in Life and Learning.

The best part: The journey is FAR from over. Love

Though a stranger,
You can rest here for a while.
But save your energy,
Your journey here is far from over.
Come the sunrise,
We'll descend through Judgement Valley
And weigh your worth
Before her majesty, the Verde River.
