So the state drug specialist agency paid me a visit today.
They found beakers, a sep funnel, a crusty jar with some bark residue on it, and a bunch of other pretty incriminating stuff.
I haven't been charged yet, but I'm expecting the police with an arrest warrant at my door in under a week.

There is some excellent advice in this thread: lawyer up immediately, do not admit anything to anyone, and don't do anything that could get you in any more trouble for the time being. Don't throw a cigarette butt on the ground, keep strictly to the speed limits, et cetera.

If all they found is a few pieces of glassware, I highly doubt you will be convicted of anything. Clear every single incriminating thing out of your house immediately. No roaches, no bent up paperclips, nothing. You still have a chance here, cygnus. You have to do everything in your power to protect yourself and your freedom, before they show up with a warrant.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. All the advice I can give in my experience is don't say anything to the police without your lawyer present. Don't admit to anything. Get a lawyer that specializes in drug charges.

Did they enter your home without a warrant or did you invite them in? Even if invited in without a warrant it's illegal for them to search your home unless they see something left in plain sight warranting a search.

Im sorry man, stay strong and tight lipped. Remember inany kind of interigation they are under no law to tell you the truth. They can and proably will claim you being charged with manufacture/distrobution just to get you to confess with the hope of a reduced sentence when most likley they have nothing on you. Focus on a spot in the room and zone out till your lawyer shows up(thats if they take you in for questioning)...

Sorry to hear that, my friend. I wish you the best of luck with this downright awful situation. Any ideas about how they might have caught on? I understand if you don't want to discuss it too much, but it sounds to me like they knew exactly what they were looking for.

On a side note: Is it illegal to extract DXM? I would think not, but I have been wrong before. If not, that might work in your favor. I know it is illegal to sell or purchase pure DXM in Illinois, but I have not read the actual bill so I do not know whether or not it covers extraction...
