Hello,my name is Sebastian im from Romania and im 18 years old,i becomed verry curious about psychedelics about 1 year ago, especially DMT,i found the DMT experience one of the most interesting thing in this world, even if i never experienced it because im just 18 and i know that i will not be able to handle it,but when im ready i will definitely do it!I joined this forum to get some guidance from people that are more familiar with this substance and to try to understand its effects more profoundly before diving in to the abyss!

I think he's just puzzled by what he heard, read or imagined seeing movies or other things. And just reading Strassman book or reading trip reports puzzled me a lot too. And after that it was a long way until I try it. And a long way until I understand how to trip. ^^

Wait until you think the moment is right Sabex! You're totally right.

Experience reports can be such interesting reads! You're right though, the more you read the more influenced your expectations will be. I suppose if you're open-minded enough then it might not be as much of a problem.

Man that seems like good advice and I've been thinking about that lately having read a lot of experience reports recently, among a ton of other kinds of info on entheogens and psycs. Your advice confirms my instinct that I should step away from that particular aspect of my research! To each their own, I guess. It's good to educate one's self and to feel "safe" in knowing about the experience of others, but a trip is so personal and the possibilities are so vast, that I don't wanna limit my thinking or experience in this way.

Thanks for the insight.

And HI, Sabex! I'm brand new too! Big grin

Welcome to the forum, Sabex! In my opinion, a person's age is completely irrelevant to whether or not they are ready to experience DMT. You'll know when the time feels right, just don't rush into it and do your homework first! Thumbs up

Perhaps you could consider trying mushrooms first? Twisted Evil Just saying that as an option. They have been really kind and rigorous to me but in general you know where, how and what if you learn to listen and feel yourself. Gaining knowledge from others that have ventured in to the ineffable...
