I once read here, or maybe else where (like the shroomery COUGH I know Sad ), that this person liked to draw while on cubes or the spice.

He/she said something like "Try it, it's the best thing ever, even if you don't think you can draw, you'll impress yourself, I did".

Well since then... I started drawing. A LOT.
My BY FAR BEST art ever, is after I did Salvia. I only did it once. It's a shame I'll never do it again, because I personally think it's my best work.
My cubensis/golden teacher art is all over the place.
And I'm just now starting my spice inspired art.
And ofcourse I have cannabis, noopept, chamomile, mugwart, and other inspired drawings.

It's really just doodling. I'm not an artist. And I've never drawn before really. But I was just curious to see if anyone else has ventured into doing this?

I have. I love it. I've spent hours on mushies drawing.

Don't ever doubt that you're not an artist! If your ability to create can bring you happiness then that's all it takes. I haven't tried drawing while experiencing spice yet but I do have a large canvas, actually an eight foot piece of sheet rock that I doodle on while experiencing other hallucinogens. It's interesting to reflect on the little bits and pieces afterwards and helps me remember the experience.. kind of like a time stamp.

I have often drawn after Hyperspace, during the journey I'm quite focused, eyes closed and physically demobilized/Still.

How about this weird thought; with computer brain scanners, record your visions & upload/share on the internet. One day soon.

I dream of that day constantly. Just so I can show people who don't know the beauties I see.

I had one experience while being on 3g of mushrooms so i was still able to function as ˝normally˝ when i picked up a pen and paper and started drawing and writing but with my left arm but i am right handed.Shocked so there is much to be discovered and learned but in general higher the dose less complex movement in my experience since i generally am not ˝here˝.Big grin

it's better to paint from recollection in my expirience. But yea, go ahead, get the paints out. See what happens. I've lived in houses like that too.

Make sure it's waterbased and it might still be funny in the morning.

go for it.

I've done it on DMT before. Can we see some of your doodles?

Good post! I can relate to this. Personally, I find that day-after effects of various psychoactives have a very creative touch and allow myself to be, well, more creative. This also has been experimented during experiences but I find that is too difficult sometimes. Low doses 100% but anything higher and I am in other realms of perception. Drawing becomes insignificant at that point. I can see how others enjoy this process, though.

Low dose vaporized plain leaf Sally was what really got me started in drawing and reconnected me to the creativity I had as a child. The images and drawings that emerge from my drawings always seem to tell some kind of story so I can definitely relate to your experience.
Coming up/down on Truffles and drawing is also a really intense and interesting experience imo.

Keep it up! Thumbs up

If I had to guess, I'd say about 3/4 of the art I have made was created while tripping.

I always think, if there was an olympic competition in drawing/painting then the performance enhancing drugs they would test for would be psychedelics. There have been times where I have what feels like super human artistic skills. Sometimes I can see the drawing before I draw it, and the act of drawing it only brings it into focus.

More than anything, the creative potential is greatly enhanced by psychedelics, and not only with art, but with everything!

Each of the substances I have used create their own style, which I can easily recognize. I look at some of my works and go, "That's mushrooms, that's mescaline, that's LSD, that's cannabis....etc."

I think the most focused drawings I have are from LSD and mescaline trips. On those substances, when I'm focused, it's almost like I am no longer tripping. All there is in the world is me and my drawing pad, and I am tuned in.

This post is making me wanna do a trip now...Big grin

My mind and its interpretations don't usually end up on the drawing board but continues to re-collect, relate and adapt to new, free-flowing, and constant images. I too feel very excited and happy to implement a voyage! Big grin

Yeah most artists I know do SOME sort of drug. One of my friends does X (which its actually becoming a problem). And his art is amazing on X. I have no clue what the other artists I know do, but I don't show them my stuff, nor do I talk to them about their drug problems.

This one house I visit on my work route, has their ENTIRE house painted, INSIDE and OUT. Here's their address if you want to check it out on google maps. 3636 Panola Ave, Ft Worth, tx.
I talked to her once when I saw her outside, she was either TRIPPING hard or permanently damaged.
The inside of her house is WAY better, like extreme detail on the walls and ceiling (she let me peak inside).

Here's some of my stuff. Judge lightly lol. I was never an artist. And usually when I do draw on mushrooms, I'm almost COMPLETELY out of it.

You know those quilted patterns you see on your walls or popcorn ceiling when you're on mushrooms or coming down from DMT?
Well I see those on paper and I trace them, and usually they make the crazy things you'll see below.
I'll try to label each drawing.

Bottom is a spice drawing from a couple nights ago. I sandwiched the spice between blue berry kush and it made the patter/visuals last for a good 20 minutes. Of which I loved my carpet and walls and draw this. Top pic is poppy seeds, weed, chamomile, and mint in my vaporizer lol:

Top and bottom are mushrooms and likely weed (since I almost always mix the 2):

Top and bottom are both VERY HIGH weed drawings, maybe chamomile tea vaped too:

Left and right are mushroom influenced, right is probably one of the only times I tried coloring AND writing random words that come to mind to see if I could get anything special... Pretty much failed and couldn't color in the lines either lol:

This is my most favorite and probably my most complete.
This is a Salvia drawing. The ONLY one I'll probably ever have because that ish was SCARY (the forces that physically move you in the trip scare me):

The next 2 are VERY LOADED mushroom drawings:

And this mushroom drawing... I'm like minutes away from not even being able to see what I'm doing. I have these lines flowing with data (like letters and numbers) in my face, I tried to draw it and gave up and laid down and went to... god knows where:

Edit: Oh and finally, gel pens, or those Pilot pets feel AMAZING when you're tripping. Even if you don't want to draw anything, scribble all over paper and just dragging it will feel REALLY good.
Then when you're done scribbling you'll still see images INSIDE your scribble marks. Draw like 1000 swirls over each other, then look to see what the swirls make, it'll be like 3D looking (on dmt or mushrooms).
After swirls scribble zig zags over each other, like 1000 times back and forth. Then look for images in that. You'll see circus tents, people, monsters, everything.

Great job topherfoster. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up

I drew this (and colored it in later) when I was trying to trace an open eyed hologram immediately after smoking DMT. I was using my focus and attention to project it onto the white piece of paper, but since it was in four dimensions or more, and constantly moving, tracing it didn't actually convey what I was seeing, however it did create fractal patterns nonetheless. The finished drawing came out looking like a map of the continent of Africa with a face embedded in it.

That is amazing. I love those patterns you can see on paper... I just got done staring at the pattern things moving across my carpet after a trip... It's so pretty and moves VERY slow (for me at least), reminds me of the ocean.

Very cool thread! I've drawn some things the day after I'd take DXM. Only once did I draw while still tripping. It was shortly after Easter and the cellophane on a basket kept looking like this crazy skin and bones bust that was warping back and forth in convulsions.

I'll have to dig around and try to find the pics I'm talking about. I know I still have them. They are from the year 2000.

topher, your drawings have an incredible sense of movement. Please keep drawing more as you have some very good underlying skill basis and distinct style! I actually really liked the colored in one! Thanks for sharing Thumbs up Very happy

The walls in my room at my moms house were covered with stuff I painted with blackloght paint while on DXM years ago when I used to do that stuff. Now days I usually try drawing things I saw while tripping awhile coming down or soon after. I've tried tracing patterns on paper while I'm seeing them, but they have a tendency to move as soon as I try to trace them down. My girlfriend likes taking small doses of ayahuasca specifically to make art.
