ok, so i kind of rushed into this, which i know is bad, but such is life.

by boiling the ACRB with vinegar, adding lye, and pulling with naptha. it worked okay.

i also read of using xylene after the naphtha here https://www.dmt-nexus.me...spx?g=posts&t=53488, though - so i added some xylene after pulling maybe 80% of my naphtha out.

i then remembered i could add salt for the later pulls (or apparently all of the pulls..) to get more dmt, but that was with naphtha - which i understand isn't so different from xylene, but i want to be sure it applies with my xylene/naphtha mix as well.
i've also read you can add more lye to possibly increase yield.

so can i add salt and lye to my xylene/naphtha/base soup?

i've been trying to read as much as i can, but i recently discovered 3 pieces of glass floating on top of my base soup (using a Rossi wine jug) so i want to get this extraction done ASAP - so i apologize for not just continuing to search for info that's already posted.

also, i might as well go ahead and ask - do xylene and naphtha separate? i ask because i read that i use should use naphtha to absorb the goodies from my xylene, since xylene is slow to evaporate. i left my jug alone for maybe 8 hours last night and they did not separate. sorry again and thanks to any help!

I believe that adding salt will make the spice migrate to your solvent more effectively and that you can also do this after you've done some pulls. If you've got naphta and xylene mixed i don't think they'll separate but you could salt out the actives, do a mini A/B and pull with clean naphta to freeze precip or for faster evap.

thanks! just had a NDE (due to anxiety induced from realizing there was still naphtha in my dose)with a hastily measured bowl of jungle jam, so i am much more anxious to get this over with so i can forget about dmt for a while and just try to process wtf just happened to me.

it coincidentally reminded me of when i overdosed on the legal weed 'spice' - just a general sense of confusion and feeling that i messed up big and everything is going to change and i might die. fortunately i have thusfar been able keep my cool in such situations.
