thanks orion! i'm really happy to get back into it. i owe it to dmt showing me the motion of things unseen. for some reason i felt compelled to draw again after the visions. i also found this little moth buddy on the sidewalk and picked him up and put him in my garden. loved his look so i drew him

I've seen those arrows before! They like to arc around the room, bouncing back and forth from wall to wall or surface to surface.

i haven't... i'd love to get into 3-d computer model building. then put motion into the stuff i've seen in hyperspace. i've only used the wacom tablet and built a fighterjet in cinema 4-d. that was pre-dmt though. would love to revisit to mess with extrude and expand. have you done work in zbrush?

Yes. For a little over two years now I've done just about nothing else.

ZBrush isn't box modeling like C4D or any of the other traditional 3D modeling packages. It's really much more like 3-dimensional sketching with digital clay - very free, very powerful and ALL kinds of fun, believe me.

You'd dig it.

wow nick, those are amazing. i especially love the last one. stripes(cross contour lines) are totally in my head now. i'd love to learn how to render a form and then add them. this is really great. i just did this sketch yesterday. stripes for ever.

Great stuff everyone! Mailorderdeity, if you had in fact taken a hiatus from your art, I'm glad you're back. You have a gift and should exercise it! Love the moth, the vortices, the stripeyguy...

Steppa, that's kind of menacing and super cool, love it! In a similar bandwidth to some of Beacon's landscapes.

Hehe thank you, but no...beacon has a deep understanding of how light works. Thats what I'm lacking.

Been away too long... what a blessing to return to this thread! Beatiful work....from all!

Here's one that oozed out of me over the winter. Been really busy with other stuff, just getting back into an artistic groove.

wow thanks so much guyomech.i had gotten stuck in a rut only using cheesy contour lines of the outside of the form. i had no idea what the shapes where in between the lines so my work really suffered a boring routine. then i had major breakthroughs on the spice and that showed me the energy everywhere. i then discovered viktor schauberger and his comprehension and application of the unseen elements in water. he steers a river from the center, not the edges. so thinking about the mass of a person and not the artificial edges/lines has been a tremendously rewarding pursuit. i'm never running out of things to paint/understand thinking of vortexes, light energy etc..!!!

the last painting here is really cracking me up. i'm trying to learn how to block in value instead of focusing on line. i was trying to paint a nice irish girl and ended up with a creepy asian boy in a dress. so i'm just rolling with it.
