I have heard and read a few times in various places that little children (under the age of 3) are still connected in a way with other dimensions. And when they play with their 'imaginary friends' these friends may actually be not so imaginary but from this hidden (astral, hyperspace, you name it) world.
There are theories about DMT and other entheogens sort of connecting people with this inner world. So I wanted to ask if anybody who had taken DMT or similar substances near little children (not that I would recommend doing this; I'm just curious) saw any of these entities and children interacting (playing, speaking...) with each other?

Interesting question.... this could help us prove hyperspace is real. WARNING: DO NOT INGEST ANY BOTANICAL WHICH YOU HAVE NOT FULLY RESEARCHED AND CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED!!!I am Teotzlcoatl, older cousin of Quetzalcoatl. My most famous physical incarnation was Nezahualcoyotl, but I have taken many forms since the dawn of the cosmos. In this realm I manifest as multiple entities at a single time. I am many, I am numbered. I am few, but more than one. I am a multifaceted being, a winged serpent with many heads. We are Teotzlcoatl. "We Are The One's We've Been Waiting For" - Hopi Proverb

^ I wish. The problem is communication with children under a certian age. I know that my son frequently appears to be looking at something very intently but nothing is there. This I would normally pass off as my kid zoning out, but he also appears to INTERACT with things that are not there. He laughs, giggles, reaches out, appears to chase things around. My wife and I laugh and say to each other "he's chasing the fairies again, isn't he!". I believe that kids have a connection with something, we as adults, have lost. Young children can usually tell someones mood long just by being in the same room as that person. They are amazing things, kids. Have you guys forgotten how it was when you were a child? I remember some bits still, but I've forgotten much from my early childhood. I suspect this is because memories need to be periodically remembered/replayed in order to be retained? However, I do specifically remember having memories of early childhood when still a child, even from the cot, and I remember that there was nothing different from 'reality' going on- everything looked the same. Apart from seeing a ghost aged 7. The same ghost, on two separate occasions, within three days, and it looked as real and solid as everything else around it. It was a black-robed monk, with only shadow inside its hood instead of a face. It was 'watching' me on both occasions. The first time was in the daytime, hovering 1m above the ground on a sunny day. The second time it was standing at the foot of my bed. Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! I believe if children have this special connection at the very young age, it may be as hard to remember after years and years of 'real life' as some DMT trip or dream after the same time period. I can remember a few bits of time when I was only a few years old, too. However, who can guarantee that the 'reality' as we see it now wasn't at least a bit different *at times*. Not all the time but only at some times. And it could have dream-like qualities (including forgetfulness). Do you remember your 2-year-old self dreams? I don't...

Does anyone remember when they were 3 months old, 6 months, 9 months, a year, year and a half? My first memory was when I was about 3 years old. It is very foggy, but it is my first memory. I, personally, am talking about VERY young children...not 3-4 year olds. Remember many experiences children experience are new. So seeing something we would normally regard as boring and uninteresting are fascinating and bewildering to them.
I can remember being very young about 3 years old. The world was qualitatively the same but my mind was obviously very simplistic. Although I remembering always telling my mom that I knew she was going to have a baby girl when she was pregnant with my sister. She would just say how do you know and I would just say I knew. I was right. Doesn't mean I was psychic baby but my intuition was active.

As I grew older they were lost. But one I still remember, because I 'renewed' while still young, after finding an old keepsake. This was of lying in my cot, reaching for the pullstring of my beloved little blue plastic music player, that was attached to the top rail of my wooden cot. I loved the music. Of course, this is just a memory of a memory now, and doubtless it's been warped by time. But as I say, I do remember reflecting on the other memories I used to have and I remember having them and not thinking that anything unlike my reality of the time was in them. I was good at remembering things until adolescence. I don't know if it was just getting older, or all the booze and weed, that has reduced my capacity. My long term memory is average now, and my short term memory isn't great. Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! I have always heard that small children and animals can 'see' spirits and things we can not. All illegal narcotics are medicinal. Boredom is a disease worse than cancer. Drugs cure it, with little or no side effects if used as directed - Doug Stanhope.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual. - Thomas Jefferson

When I was young - into my teenage years - I often experienced hallucinations very similar to some visions I have experienced in hyperspace. In one state I experienced many times I would feel pinned down in bed and bombarded by hundreds of images a minute, shown in squares dropping down at me at very high speeds. Although these images did not have that other-dimensional style to them the feeling and speed of the experience were very similar indeed. As a non-spiritual person my feeling is that children's minds are rather more open than ours and are therefore able to experience the mind and it's processing in a more raw state. As adults our minds have been trained to block out extra information so we have to open them manually with music, chemicals, dance, mediation and other things most of the time. I still occasionally experience psychedelic states when straight, but rarely hallucination and then never those of the all-enveloping type I did as a child.

And to answer the starter of this thread, I do have some very clear memories of age 3 and less. One of me and my brother trying to build a log cabin in yellow stone park, and one of my brother almost being eatin by alligators in florida. Neither time did my reality look like hyperspace or anything that I would see in hyperspace. You lock the door, and throw away the key
