So I am still amazed by the strangeness of what we call hyperspace. It is so weird and hard to understand that it has scared me to death several times. This only occurs with very high doses of vaporized DMT. However, where do the words "kaleidoscopic" and "hyperspace" come from when different people attempt to describe the scary end of the DMT experience spectrum?

I have put some research into the topic and this is what I have found out:

A HYPERCUBE

And the 4th and 5th dimensions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg85IH3vghA
In this video a connection is made between the 5th dimension and probability space.

Having seen my hand watch pointers like that under a heavy dose of vaped DMT:

I deduce that this was the perception of the 5th dimension (probability space) that occurred to me. I saw the clock's pointers in all of their possible positions at once.

Normal breakthrough doses only take you to the 4th dimension which gives everything this weird look (things such as your own hands for example).

And here rises an idea: if with DMT we get to perceive the world by its higher dimensions and knowing how mathematically a 4-dimensional cube is projected into a 3D space - we can hypothesize that DMT does not open "a third eye" BUT INSTEAD DMT makes it possible to move by the 4th axis of the space. Consequently when changing our personal point of origin in this hyperdimensional space, 3-dimensional projections of higher dimensional objects morph into hard-to-grasp forms such as the hypercube I pointed out previously. In turn, this whole scene starts to feel like "kaleidoscopic" and because we can't make it stop at will, it may become relentless at higher doses.

An analogue can be imagined when one closes its one eye and by doing it loses the perception of depth. If that eye is opened again, the person starts to perceive the world as "more real". This explains the scary thought that has appeared to me and my friend several times during DMT trips: "What if this is the real reality and in our everyday lives we perceive only a subset of it?"

Conclusion: DMT's weirdness is actually explainable by the fact that it allows us to perceive the space by its higher than 3 dimensions.

I like the point you made that we might be psychologically manifesting the "probability space" or quantum world, while under the influence of dmt and that the dmt world is a higher order of reality thats going on all the time like another layer on top of consensus reality. Lately my speculations as to what hyperspace is has been rooted in the premise of consciousness which declares that when I look at a tree Science tells us that i'm not really seeing the tree, whats really happening is wavelengths in the visible spectrum are bouncing off the tree entering my eyes where these signals are translated into electrochemical signals and through the use of neurons and neurotransmitters the message is passed on until it is deciphered in my head which can bring you to the conclusion that no one ever sees anything. This points to the idea that all of our external data is recreated for us, within us. Therefore some people like myself might conclude that there is a vast ammount of information floating right in front of our eyes and all around us that we are simply not tuned into or might possibly not even have the capacity to understand!

Have you ever heard the idea that when the conquiestedors first arrived in the new world that their boats and technology were so unexpected by the tribes people that they litterally could not see the ships when they first arrived? I kinda feel like that's B.S. but i've heard it before from others so maybe someone here can back me up on that one hehe.

So the point I'm trying to get to here is this: Seratonin (structurally very similar to dmt) is a neurotransmitter. Seratonin transports the messages being brought in from the outside world between the synapse-the gaps between the neurons, The neurons are shooting these signals along until deciphered at some point in the brain. So it is my very intuitively logical and un educated SPECULATIVE GUESS that makes sense to me, that DMT is either enhancing or inhibbiting the effectiveness of the neurons themselves to the point that it is either tuning us up to whats really going on around us and where we really go when we fall asleep or die ect. OR its Tuning us out of our machine mines to the point that our "souls" if you will are able to pry away from the "human brain machine" we're trapped in on the regular to kind of see the "projector behind the screen" if you will.

And one last Speculative spit of vomit to throw at you. It's in my opinion that the "creator" or "source" created reality through a feed back loop. and that this world, the next dimension hyperspace ect. are all contained in it. If you've ever pointed a video camera at a tv screen that the video camera was connected to or turned a mirror at a certain angle facing another mirror Infinity should instantly be revieled to you in the form of repeating subsections of the room reflecting onto itself for eternity. I just smoked some really good weed so if this doesn't make sense to you I apologise. But think about it. The answers are probably right in front of your face. But without evidence I know its speculation. But it brightens my day to think in these terms.

One last thing I am a little curious as to what your personal definition of the third eye is. What the third eye is to me personally, is your minds eye. For example imagine a helicopter right now. You see the helicopter in your head right? Its hard to explain but you see it in your mind? To me thats the third eye. When I take LSD or shrooms that third eye just seems to open up way wider and it always feels like i'm getting visual messages through both that eye and my real eyes. When I close my eyes on lose doses of DMT and get vivid lsd like closed eye visuals I attribute that to my third eye. So for me i'd say lsd and shrooms pry your 3rd eye open. DMT robotically and sergically removes it and throws it out into space Razz . Just my interpretation though.

I have always thought that third eye and pineal gland are somehow connected. Thus the third eye is connected with DMT. We also have astral bodies and during astral travel there are still all the senses available. I haven't tried closing only one eye during an astral travel experience so if it's impossible then maybe the third eye is your astral eye? And during DMT trip you are able perceive some astral data in addition to regular projections of 3-dimensional objects.
