well someone i know is trying out how to grow shrooms in the tropics.

where daily temperature there goes higher than 32 deg C on most days.

however, since many here are probably living in cooler climates, our experiences may be different.

but anywhoo...

does anyone know what's the orangeish/brownish wormy looking thing?

its probably alright if it smells alright. If it smells like nasty wine or just not a good shroomy smell it might be contaminated. What did you use a substrate?

according to this person i know...

its mostly coir.

no maths involved. no ratios. just a lump of coir cooked. with rye flour. and bird seeds.

doesn't smell funky. no weird smells.

there was some earthy smells... no funky green colour... its less fuzzy than it was days before.

Nice! That looks great. You should get a nice couple flushes from those. Do you know what strain of cubes they are?

i guess you are right about the sun part...

they were confused where's the source of light... but i guess... for the time being everyone learns as they go along.

thanks for the advice...

why are they confused?

well one of them grew upside down... instead of the right side up...
