I wanted to wait until I actually tried DMT and had a breakthrough to post on here but I want to get an early start. My goal is to use the spice to become more spiritual by doing some inner work and learning as much as I can from the elves or the other entities that many of you all mention in your reports. I hope that I can learn a lot from you all through the reading of your experiences and contribute to this awesome community! Please assist me in making this gift from the Earth more widely known, respected, and treasured.

Thanks in advance!

Personally I would say don't go in with a goal because I think whatever knowledge you will gain from the creatures and emotions that lurk in hyperspace have a goal for you! And whatever yours is will not matter. I think are paths have already been laid out and it's just a matter of taking that next step forward. Before blasting off into hyperspace I would say just remember to take things as they are in the experience and not what you want them to be. Good luck! And safe travels

Howdy, welcome to the nexus

So do you have any experience with other psychedelics? How did you get interested in this area?

I don't think it's necessarily bad to have an intention to learn, so long as we realize that it can involve a lot of un-learning, and nothing is clung to or set in stone . Just my opinion though. 8-)

I've only had some experience with salvia but nothing worth mentioning, and regrettably "spice" because of some some stupid decision I made. I've been studying the occult for about nine years and all I have is knowledge with very little experiences so I hope that by using The Spice I will be able to have some amazing spiritual experiences.

I'm confused, spice=DMT. So you have or have not tried DMT?

If the answer is still no, here's what I would suggest: eat some psychedelic mushrooms in a safe space with a good friend or solo with a positive outlook. Try that, if you had a positive experience, then consider dmt. Psilocybin is chemically very similar to DMT, as you can tell from it's chemical name alone, O-phosphoryl-4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine or 4-PO-DMT.

Basically, the experience with mushrooms is, in my opinion, a bit more forgiving to those starting with entheogens as opposed to DMT, which may spank your celestial ass for the fun of it. But don't take my word for it, I'm just a dog on the internet.

I've tried spice as in synthetic MJ but have never tried "the" spice known as DMT. I'm currently away from home so I won't be able to do an extraction until I get back. For what I want out of psychedelics, I don't think shrooms would be beneficial. I'm just going to work my way up with DMT instead of distracting myself with other substances. Not to mention the fact that DMT lasts only a few minutes in "real time" when smoked as freebase, and that for this reason I can fit this into my life. I'm basically on call 24/7 so I can't really do anything that will last for about 8 hours or more lol.

Mushrooms can open a lot of the doors that DMT can, that being said, the experiences can be wildly different. DMT is a very powerful substance that isn't for everyone, by no means am I discouraging you from the molocule. The extraction process in itself I found to be very rewarding and educational Thumbs up
I would suggest not forming too many expectations because the experience is going to be shocking and un-explainable. DMT was my first psychadelic (besides a low dose of mushrooms) and I had spent quite a bit of time researching and forming my theories on what would happen, the only thing I was right about was it's potential to change your life.
It sounds like you'll be taking your time though which is good, make sure to do plenty of quality research, good luck on your search.

Safe journeys

I would never downplay the effects of mushrooms. 5 to 6gs of those and you'll be in places sometimes more mind boggling then DMT. Probably because everything doesn't happen so fast.

Gotta agree with the folks above, don't write-off other psychedelics. Period. Each plant/material has it's own message to deliver. Mush was my first entheoteacher and I'm grateful for it. That being said, I've made a lot of mistakes to get to where I'm at (for better or worse). Use caution, love the ones you are with, and be with those who love you. And try to make sure you are in a safe and comfortable space, or at least have a space where you can go to to be safe in.

Bon voyage.
