Im reading in to the FASI teks and I dont understand 2 things. Maybe I am asking a question that is already answered, but I cannot find the answers.
Assuming: 100ml limonene has 100mg dmt in it, how much FASI does one has to add to make fumerate crystals to grow / precipitate? What is the ratio for solvent and FASI? Does it change if 100ml limonene would have 500mg dmt in it?
If you would add 100ml fasi to the 100ml limonene, would that be too much? Or would the result just be more fumaric acid than dmt in the fumerate, and therefor a yield that is off?
A wash could get rid of the excess fumaric acid, I assume?

b) FASA was added dropwise, xylene became cloudy due to the salted alkaloids. One cannot put too much FASA.
So maybe its all about the interpretation of the sentence "One cannot put too much FASA". Does it mean --> Put as much in it as you want, it will never be enough.
OR does it mean:
Do not put too much, because it wont work.
