Its all about rehab for dmt users. It says there are withdrawals from dmt use and users can be totally dependent on the drug. There are plenty more crazy accusations.

Very hard to believe that is serious, but it appears to be. It looks like they cut out the word heroin and pasted DMT in its place. The only consolation is that any rehab centre for DMT will be completely empty and go belly up before long...

There sure is a lot of ignorance in the world, and profiteering ignorance is certainly one of its worst forms.

Sorry vodsel if I mislead you with the title I just couldn't believe what this rehab center was saying. I thought all should see what some ideas and thoughts are out there about DMT. I mean this a legitimate facility that has a dmt rehab program. I don't know where they could of gotten there information from. It just seems crazy to me. So crazy that I called them and talked to one of the guys and asked him what he could do for my dmt addiction. Haha he gave me a whole rant about how dmt can cause major psychological addictions. This guy truly believes in it . He calls himself an expert but I don't think he has any personal experience . It's crazy!

Its not uncommon. So they are saying they have had people WALK in to their rehab center while on DMT.

I wanna see it.

They are a business like any other.

Their business just happens to be locking people up. That's how they make money. They get people via guilt, coercion, preying on emotions, and funnelling more business from the legal system.

It is what it is.

Most likely just good looking Searchengine Spam. The whole text is pretty bland, it could be that they just took the Heroin article, changed it around a bit and then exchanged DMT for Heroin.

After reading the above sales pitch i had a lengthy internal dialogue on the subject of booking myself in for treatment.

That was the first thing that popped into my mind when reading this crap.
I really wonder if they even had 1 person going in for this rehab treatment. My god.

It might be a good idea not to give this type of info too much attention though.

I'm with Elpo on this - It's probably a generic template based on hallucinogenic drugs with the word DMT tossed in where LSD or MDMA would be.

Still it is pretty ridiculous and does nothing but add more obstacles on the way to truly aknowledging and accepting that things like DMT and other psys will probably end up being used instead of current psychiatric/therapeutic medication/techniques.

Just saw the part about tolerance building quickly!!!!! I mean have these people even read the Wikipedia article on DMT? How the heck are they running drug re-habs with no knowledge of drugs?

I am utterly shocked at these sites and their claims.

You guys are giving this place way too much credit. I agree it's disturbing, but they are just ordinary people doing what they believe in. 99% of the world walks around blind to these matters. They're not enlightened. There's no need to be! They're no different from Christians that believe masturbation will do terrible things to you. Drugs are bad, mmmkay? Therefore it's important we all work together to stop the growing masturbation epidemic before it's too late.

Think of it as if they are children. You don't laugh at children for not understanding adult matters. It's just cruel. This is worse than that, but philosophically the same conclusion. The most effective way to fight this is with education and compassion.

Business wise, they are going to capture plenty of teenagers and young adults when parents corner and strongarm them. But awareness of this is important because otherwise they may slowly and quietly lobby to position as another court mandated AA-like group.

To anyone reading this and feeling shocked: Private prisons are one of the biggest atrocities in American history. If you're not aware of the problem, you need to make yourself aware of it. It should be mandatory education for this crowd.

Yea most people don't hear what forums like nexus or shroomery etc... have to say when it comes to substances. They listen to the people that call themselves experts in psychedelics but any person truly involved in psychedelics knows there no such thing as an expert. There just to much we don't know yet. But some can be sure that there is such thing as responsible use.

Its amusing - this is the best of rehab? I don't think so! The medical / psychological community can make anything a problem which they will provide a "cure" for, for a fee!!!

Rick Strassman was open to doing his medical work with dmt, giving sometimes high doses! He raised few concerns about addiction and / or negative consequences - his main concern appears to have been being unsure what is happening with dmt - what the nature of it is (psycho-spiritual dimension) / where people go on it etc.

Paradoxically, dmt is probably more likely to address underlying issues with addiction! If not of course, there is always iboga!
