I just saw this article this morning. I thought that its interesting enough to share with you guys. It definitely makes you think twice about using cannabis during prenatal development.

Yeah, I definitely won't allow my kids (if I have any) to consume cannabis until they are at least 16, even though I am a heavy smoker. It's relatively harmless but can interfere with brain development, so it's best to stay away until the brain is mostly mature. I didn't start smoking until I was 23.

I agree, I didnt start until I was 21 and I can see why its important to wait. Not only because of the effect it can have on memory development but also how easily it can be abused. Young people are less likely to know their limits and/or have any desire to limit their use.

I have definitely felt some residual effects from my 1/8th-ounce-a-day cannabis smoking habits as a high schooler... I still smoke occasionally, but I definitely don't recommend that people under 20-years-old consume cannabis with any frequency.

I agree in the sense that if you are under age you should not smoke eve though i did.

But I am a very active in the Cannabis activist community of SA and there fore I have done heaps of research (medical) on our favorite herb. I have also been asked to do research with regards to MJ and pregnancy, I like this study more:
