Hello, I decided to finally join the forums. I have been looking non-stop at other forums on various substances, mainly psychedelics. Sadly the only psychedelic I have ever had experience with is my best friend Marijuana Smile After getting busted at school Thumbs down with a couple of smelly buds I am left to doing drugs not tested for. Which thankfully leaves most psychedelics Very happy

Anyways I have ordered 2 12" x 4.5" San Pedro cacti and will present my ideas on the preparation and give my response to the experience itself after I ingest the beautiful alkaloids.

So the recipe I will be using is my very own (haven't seen any similar).
Ingredients/Supplies:
- San Pedro Cutting 12" x 4.5"
- Some kind of ethanol, most likely Lemon Extract with the alcohol content of 83% (roughly)
- Distilled Water
- Coffee Filters
- Coffee grinder (Grinding up the nibs)
- Fan (For ventilation)
- Cacao Nibs
- Coconut Oil
- Sugar

Preparation:
My idea is to slice up the SP into thin chunks and place them into a pot along with the ethanol (Lemon Extract). Let the mixture simmer for a couple of hours and then freeze the mixture over night. Then place into pot again and simmer for a little longer and boil away the alcohol. Place powdered cacao into the pot along with a good amount of coconut oil and mix with the icky SP residue. Heat on low and add a little sugar for some sweetness. After the mixture is at the taffy consistency (shouldn't take too long) I will place the mixture into circular molds and place into freezer yet again.

The natural MAOI's in the cacao will helpfully aid in the digestion and aid for a gradual come-up and produce a nice tasty chocolate bar full of the beautiful alkaloids from the SP and Cacao.

Please give me feedback and tell me if this won't even work. I have done much research on mescaline preparations and with past experience making delectable cannabis edibles I'm hoping this will be a complete success and share the experience with my eager friends Big grin

It will work.
Reduced tincture of alkaloids.
The cocao is likely to increase some subjective effects.
I uzed to use vodka for making cactus shots.

Do you think you could give me some insight on dosage?
From one 12" x 4.5" cutting, how many doses should it produce. I know it varies so much but I'm just curious from your personal experience.
Also I'm looking for moderate to spiritual doses.

Alkaloid content can vary significantly. If you live in the US, there is a chance that a 12" x 4.5" T. pachanoi cutting will produce 0 doses.

EDIT: ...assuming mescaline is the alkaloid which you seek.

1-2 doses is what i would expect.
A strong clone of true pachanoi requires a piece the size of an apple, usually 200-400 grams or so. It is unlikely that it what you have though.

So I would expect a dose to be around 1000-2000g wet weight for the most widely sold material. If you bought it sold as San Pedro in particular.
